Losing Historic to this Alchemy version is probably going to push me off of Arena. Standard isn't my game and never has been. I was starting to really like Historic too. Honestly, I started to not want Pioneer, but just enjoyed Historic for what it is. I literally even built my favorite and most successful Historic homebrew in paper even though it's kinda useless there - just because I was passionate and excited. This change kills Historic for me and makes me a lot more upset than I guess I expected MTG to be able to in the end. I'm not usually one to comment or throw a fit, but... Yeah. This kills my interest. With this change, I actively regret putting money into the client.

While I don't have any issues with Alchemy as it's own distinct format, I even don't mind adding the rebalanced versions of banned cards. My problem with these changes to historic is that cards will be changed for the sake of change, like the nerfed version of Luminarch Aspirant. This card is perfectly acceptable for Historic's power level and nerfing it will only hurt people trying to hurt lower tier or non- competitive decks.

There's a reason players choose to play historic over standard which is because they prefer a non rotating format, in other words they don't like how often things change in standard, wanting a curvature that's more stable. Pushing cards rebalanced for standard power level into Historic breaks that stability.

For me, this change will likely push me away from Arena entirely to one of the many other ways to play online

If you want to try a new format, make it stand on its own. Don't take away the format I currently play and change it into your new format and make me decide between playing what you want me to play and quitting. If your new format cannot survive in popularity going toe to toe against a historic that is not altered, then you will have your easy answer which format is more desired...

Tell daddy Hasbro to stop being so greedy. Leave historic alone por favor.

Make two format: "paper" historic and alchemy historic with all digital and digitally nerfed cards. And bring full Pioneer on Arena asap.

While I'm not certain how I feel about alchemy as a whole, I strongly believe it should be an OPTIONAL layer on top of existing formats (Historic); not a forced one.

Take the the digital only & rebalanced cards out of natural Historic and make "Alchemy Historic" a separate format, like "Alchemy Standard." (i.e. treat Alchemy as a separate & optional layer on-top of the existing formats.)

I don't want a Historic environment in which I can't trust my deck to remain the same. Alchemy seems fun as a once-in-a-while, experimental thing, and an alchemy variant of Historic might be neat to try once or twice, but I specifically DON'T want my primary format to unexpectedly be replaced with the Alchemy variant of it.

While I'm Interested in Alchemy format, Historic needs to be left alone or shifted to a new name if need be.

Alchemy seems awesome, but not when it’s messing up historic. Please don’t. Ruin our eternal format.

Changing cards in historic will make me quit Arena.

Is this a joke WotC? Changing the terms of how cards work after three years of purchases seems like a good way to get your product sued out of existence.

Please do not make historic brawl a "live" format, that kills any desire to play this game for me

Alchemy is fine as an idea or experiment, but it should not be used to affect historic. This feedback has been consistent from the community every time you have done events like the what if rebalances of oko and company. Changing cards and digital only should be confined to one play list. I will not be playing any historic of this goes through

After kaldhiem every thing has been going to **** loosing faith in magic at this point alchemy is just the next tumble to what I feel is a giant hole that doesn't even resemble magic.

I'm a long time magic player who primarily plays historic in mythic. I also play Hearthstone in legend.

I like historic because it feels like authentic magic and is powerful. Adjusting cards in the format and introducing more arena only cards to historic does not align with why I play the format.
