I've uninstalled until the change is reverted for historic formats. Historic brawl, my favorite format by miles, is a ghost of its former self with these erratas and digital only cards. Please think about what you are doing. You are ostracizing your longtime fans.

I wish you would ask the community about anti-consumer decisions first before you choose to implement them to the detriment of the game. Good riddance JotC!

Leave Historic Brawl alone! Leave the cards as printed and while you're at it, take out the digital-only cards you introduced with Historic Horizons.

Arena's literally my only option to play Magic with the pandemic ongoing. Please, WotC. Alchemy is genuinely a terrible product to introduce into the game. Please listen to the playerbase and remove it.

Just logged in and played one game of Historic, lost immediately to an "Alchemy" card. Checked the set and now I just feel dejected. The collection I have built over the last few years feels worthless. I have a serious trust deficit with this platform now. I felt so betrayed, I just logged out. Not sure if/when I will feel like logging in again. I am not sure what WoTC intended with this change, but I hope they realize the impact it is having.

Please WotC, For all that is Holy... I would like to use all the cards I have in Historic and not buffed/Nerfed versions. I would like a True Historic Format, even stuff that was Pre-banned from Stryxhaven (like Dark rit, Lightning bolt, etc.) I would also like Brainstorm and Memory lapse back. Instead of this alchemy stuff, why not a real historic format?

If anything is too powerful like OkO, Uro or FoTD, please consider the "Vintage Treatment". I could deal with a restricted list.

I got into Arena with the Hope that it would have the Paper Pioneer at least one day (but I also want Legacy and Vintage to be viable eventually)

Alchemy is fine as it's own format, whatever.... Just please don't mess with Historic cards..

In Fact, I want anthologies to introduce more of the orginal dual lands, Black Lotus, Force of WIll, Daze, High Tide, Candelabra, Tarmagoyf, Goblin Lackey, Aether Vial, etc etc...

Instead of Nerf/Buff Digital only cards... slowly add good cards and then you can unban Dark Rits and what not.

I don't mind the Alchemy format, and I don't mind digital-only cards.

What I DO NOT want is nerfed cards messing up Historic Brawl decks. Just let us play the original, printed versions of cards in all formats that aren't Alchemy.

Please don't apply Alchemy rebalances to Historic — it's not fun.

Dave Humphreys recently wrote* that "we plan to intentionally make decisions to have Alchemy diverge from the metagame of Standard and other formats to provide an alternative experience to play."

That's fine I guess, but why would you want to ruin the experience of players who aren't seeking that "alternative"?

Please don't force Alchemy cards into Historic.

Alchemy being forced into Historic was one of the worst game design decisions I have seen in a long time.

I have played Arena since the Closed Beta.
Quit during Ravnica due to shuffler, rigged matchmaking and many other issues. Decided to give a second chance to the game at the launch of Dungeons and Dragons, and had been playing until now.
The issues that made me quit still plague the game, but it was good as a product since it mirrored some of the paper experience into a digital format.

Screwing over the only format closer to an Eternal paper format due to profits is just plain stupid.
I used to spend 100+ dollars per collection. Not going to spend a single dollar in this game anymore.
Already uninstalled the client, and don't see myself coming back to this game.

Please leave Historic alone. This is just awful. Nobody wants this trash. We want the cards to be exactly the way they are printed in paper.
Hundreds of hours and hundreds of dollars down the drain. I really want my money back. This will cause the game to lose many many players. I guarantee it.

I dont like that you want to force us to play with digital only cards - it could be just an option - after years i played arena i cant anymore cause it has nothing to do with the orginal game- i never complained about single cards or metas - also i wont think twice
again playing with proxys now - your greed will be your downfall

So the MTG was already one of the worst (if not the worst) of the avaliable digital games, but Wizards of the Coast decided that this is not enough and decided to ***** over Historic players by denying wildcards on nerfs, share those same nerfs with alchemy and making sure pretty much every new card is a rare or mythic because they don't really know anymore how to tell us that they don't want anybody playing their game.

Yeah, I'm uninstalling until this mess is fixed. And if it doesn't get fixed, these are my last words here. Not gonna waste more time on this when there are so many games that respect their playerbase.

I wish there were such a thing as "Class action lawsuits" in the UK.

WotC has misrepresented what we are purchasing when buying historic products.

I wonder if I can get my credit card company to claw back every purchase I have ever made, due to false advertising and misrepresentation?

I'll be calling my payment providers, and paypal tomorrow morning to see what restitution is available to me.

i like draft, so i play other formats to get g's for draft. Lately that other format was historic. I cringed at first with the first digital only cards, but they weren't very competitive so i went on. Now, historic is effed, historic brawl is effed. Seems like i'm just gonna play regular brawl until they Eff that up too.

WHY CANT WE HAVE A 0 DIGITAL ONLY HISTORIC FORMAT? I mean, lets be hones, pionner is never coming, you just wanna make more bolt guys

I used to spend about $50-100 per set, now I will be spending $0 on arena until they walk back this decision. Thanks to this terrible decision to have alchemy affect Historic, I can now save my money.

Been playing MTG since 96' and I'm being 100% honest when I say If I could throw the free alchemy booster packs in the trash I would. I don't want these garbage rebalanced cards contaminating my collection and breaking my historic decks.

Please add a way to delete alchemy booster packs/cards, I don't want these and I wont be opening them. Or ya know, just scrapping this alltogether.

If you insist on keeping this trash, relegate it to it's own format far away from everything else.

We have told you what we want, and this aint it. I don't know what marketing intern thought of this idea but it belongs in the garbage.

Alchemy is a terrible idea, Wizards knows it, but they don't care because they would rather lose a chunk of the player base because alchemy is meant to bring in more money by design.

Well Wizards isn't getting a dime from me ever again. Way to go.

Please give us an Eternal format that means my $700 spent and will to draft each new set to have a collection that means I can play that format isn't screwed over by it becoming Hearthstone.

I feel like I've wasted $700 and 2 years of my time since early beta building a huge collection so I can play a lot of different decks in an Eternal format that mimics paper.

This changes that into a format I don't want to play, nerfs cards without giving me a wild card refund, brings tonnes of new cards in constantly that I can't acquire through drafting. It SUCKS, please just add a PIONEER queue, this would solve everything. You can keep your Alchemy format, heck, I might even play a deck in that format, but then at least all the cards I've drafted can still allow me to play an eternal format that mimics paper and doesn't have Hearthstone nonsense in it.

This for me is the straw that broke the camels back and I am seriously jaded to play your game at all now. If I could play Pioneer and know the collection I've been building isn't going to be ruined, I'd gladly keep throwing money at the game to draft and build that collection.
