Instead of rebalancing cards invest more on testing before. No one asked for this instead u give us while we all are asking to improve client, spectator mode and other improvements making arena less comfortable to play.

Not only do I want historic left alone I am absolutely against a living format that is not reflected in paper play. Keep Arena a copy of paper Magic. This is an absolute travesty and cheapens every aspect of the investment of generations of players.

Haven’t seen something this divisive since the “double wildcard” debacle when historic was introduced. Play test your cards more thoroughly rather than shoehorning errata and forcing changed cards on the community. No one asked for this, and it’s clear the vast majority do not want it.

Historic is the best constructed format on the platform. It was already disappointing to introduce digital only cards into it and remove the potential paper play. Please let it exist as is.

Historic is my only format I like to play, not draft, not standard, not brawl, historic. Please don't radically change historic, even if there's historic and alchemy historic would be fine.

I personally think Alchemy sounds kinda fun and interesting.

But I don't follow the logic of tying it to Historic. It doesn't make sense. What's broken in standard is only playable in historic at best. And what's somewhat good in standard is usually outright unplayable in historic.

Nerfing moderately good standard cards means effectively banning them in historic.

And, if WotC is still gonna go this path, then at the very least please pay out wildcards when cards get nerfed.

Arena MUST have a true eternal format.

I would prefer it to be synced to a paper format (Pioneer) but until then, historic MUST NOT be tied to this rebalancing.

Dont nerf cards in Historic if its not necessary.

Changes like this make me want to play less. Feel really pessimistic that you don’t listen to your users

Please separate Historic into "paper" and "digital" only formats.

I do not support the decision to alter historic cards without providing compensation. Historic is the only format I care about on arena. If it is changed I will no longer be making purchases on arena or using the arena client.

I just want to enjoy a product I paid for without the fear of having WotC nerf my cards without compensation. I don't feel safe buying gems and bundle if my product could be change at anytime without anything in return. If the mode was separated, I would be happy to continue support the game.

Dont affect Historic. It is the only format I enjoy in Arena. But if the nerfs reach it, I might just quit playing Arena.

I support leaving historic alone. I've spent hundreds of dollars so that I could practice paper magic and I want my cards to work the same in both formats.

Feel free to have a separate Alchemy Historic and separate Alchemy Historic Brawl. It's fine as an optional format.

Just adding my voice, that even though I do not like the digital only design I feel positive about a separate Alchemy queue.
What I can not get behind, is changing the nature of a long standing format like Historic. Players (myself very much included) put money, time and energy towards building a card pool for the ONLY eternal game mode Arena offers and I am frankly insulted that you would just push such a change against the interest of your player base.

Customers might not always know what they want, but we very much DO know what we don't want!

PS: On a separate note - THIS is what you have been prioritizing over long standing bug fixes and client issues? THIS is what you have been prioritizing over remastered drafts and Pioneer support? THIS is what you have been prioritizing over actual features like spectator mode, play blade re-designs or multiplayer. You do NOT understand your player base and I am severely disappointed by the waste of the potential Arena once had.

I’m not opposed to an alchemy format that includes all cards on arena. But there should be a “historic” format that lives up to its name and does not change the cards. History doesn’t change, it is what it was. Let us have a format where we can use all of the cards we had in standard and standards past.
