Alchemy
Alchemy makes me not want to play MTGA at all I see this issue that you are trying to address but this not the right way to do so. I want to play magic not hearthstone, this just feels bad it feels like a betrayal of magic at its core and it make me concern about investing in arena at all if this is the direction your going in.
Standard get stale fast its a real issue. Instead of corrupting the integrity of the game with digital only mechanics and buffs and nerfs truing the game into magic light may i suggest a "flux" game mode.
In "flux" ever 6 weeks or so a number of the most popular meta cards would be rotated out giving other cards time to shine. Additionally old MAGIC cards would be rotated in or maybe preview cards from a new set. you could craft them or buy them in a pack like historic anthology or packs i guess. Some of the cards could be limited time classics like Counter spell or lighting bolt that turn into wild cards at the next flux rotation.
This would give you a fresh format while not fundamental dismantling what magic is. I want to play the game i grew up if i wanted to play a digital card game id go back to hearthstone.
Nothing exist in a vacuum it's existence will have an effect on standard and not to mention destroying historic. I real hope you change chorus if not i wont be playing any longer witch make me sad.

The fact that we don't have the option of playing with the real version of a card AND are forced to play against the alchemy versions is pretty stupid. Some pretty good cards get better and others get way worse. I get one day a week to play paper and wanted to get some games in but once I see the difference in the cards I'm using it wrecks the whole experience.

I'm glad people mention Hearthstone as a comparison. MTGA had a leg up over Hearthstone because it was the well-balanced Paper game I remember in school, but this Alchemy change is making me want to go back to Hearthstone instead since MTGA now feels like a poor knockoff of Hearthstone.

Just make this horrible hearthstone style archetype it's own area. All the perpetual cards are way too powerful for this game and things that happen multiple times with this mechanic are even more broken. I honestly hate this unwarranted change because now everything has to be a power card. Might as well go back to the WoTS days and throw nothing but walkers and land in.......

Alchemy would be more worthwhile for me to play if a certain percentage of decks were required to be actual Alchemy cards. Playing against standard decks with zero Alchemy cards is stale and boring! I'd say put the required percentage at 30 percent.

This is the worst. I've been playing historic brawl since the world championships because standard has been so busted. Instead of banning Alrond's Epiphany and Blizzard Brawl which a lot of people were begging for they made this! Now Historic has a bunch of untested cards you can never use in paper running around. It's bad because you aren't playing real Magic and the cards are untested and unwelcome. At first when I downloaded the update I was hopeful because I saw three broad catalogories, standard, alchemy, historic. I couldn't believe it when my opponent was using alchemy cards in a historic game. I really don't want to play this anymore

If the point was a more balanced game they failed hard. Some of the new cards are so much better than the ones they're nerfing. Didn't wanna think it's a cash grab, but it seems to be. Just a way to add OP gotta have cards more often. This could be RIP for mtga for me. Just terrible. I'm embarrassed I was trying to defend this to my friends.
