Game Crashes when selecting (Store, Events, Opening Boosters etc.) after update.
When I use something other than playing a regular game, (like an event, shop, or changing a daily challenge), the game freezes and only a reboot is effective to get back into the game... This is since the last update...
Hello, it's sad but the bug persists.
Point 1 - DONE, (Enable detailed logs in the game client → gear icon → Account → check the detailed logs box)
Point 2 - I can't copy the problem since the game freezes as soon as I do what I told you in the previous message, but I'm sending you my latest log. (Copy the problem you are experiencing, close the MTG Arena client, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Wizards of the Coast\MTGA\MTGA_Data\Logs\Logs in Windows Explorer, then send me the most recent log file there.)
Point 3 - DONE I sent it too ( A DxDiag file of the device you are experiencing the problem on)
Point 4 - I have no error message
Please help me solve this annoying problem.

Same problem here, especially when I try to open packs. I used to really enjoy Arena but I guess that is over. It has saved me a lot of money these past few months so if WotC does not care, neither do I. Happy to stick with paper.

I'm also encountering this on Bazzite (Linux). I can play the game, but the game rendering freezes if I open packs or hover over the quests. I can still hear things happening when the rendering freezes. Only way to fix it is to close the Arena.

I am not sure, there seem to be minor improvements now, but the game is still buggy! The most obvious situation is trying to open packs, which leads to a crash all the time!

I've also been having this problem. I'm on Mac and I can do some things on the client with minimal issues. However, when I specifically click gems in the shop and attempt to matchmake of any kind, including sending direct challenges, the client ceases up, sometimes freezing my whole computer, and forces me to restart either the game or the whole computer. I want to play arena for some reason, but I simply can't because the client is so busted.

Hi Guys , same freaking problems!
It's been week since theese freeze and bugs came out and we are all pist off because is not our pc issue but a problem that seems came from wizard.
Is it real that anyone knows how to fix the situation? -

Game is still very unstable, no progress, yet. Having observed many crashes I can say that in all cases there was some kind of >ANIMATION<, either in the menus or inside the game. E. g. it never crashes when you just played a basic land, but it may crash if you play a card with special effects, or activate an ability with special visualization. Probably, in the last major update, there was some change regarding the way animations are displayed/rendered/processed...

Many, many application crashes unfortunately with exit to Win10 (current date 6th of October, 2024). These crashes appear at very different moments, timing is not predictable for me, happens directly after game start just with "mouse over" hovering an icon, happens selecting a menu, happens at the "ready"-screen before a game, happens at any point in the game... Always the screen is "hanging", then after 1-2 mouse clicks windows offers the choice to exit the hanging application... :-/ In my case I am using Intel i7 Notebook with integrated graphics, up to August/September 2024 before the last major upgrade MTGA worked quite nice and stable, now there is this huge bug. Please fix it!

WOTC has been exposed. They provide no technical support whatsoever. They employ a bunch of "customer service" reps for show. These people are incapable of fixing the problem nor are they accountable for doing that. Their job is to make a note of the complaint. Nothing more. I've been assured the "developers" are aware of the problem. Hahaha! What a joke. It's been weeks. This is simply not a priority. WOTC ... what do you think happens when you release a new set, but players cannot open packs without the game crashing? Hint ... no more Arena.

It crashes. Every. Single. Time. Just started within the past few weeks with the update.
Should have been fixed by now. WOTC technical support is garbage.
