I just completed a Midweek Magic event, but it didn't count towards the achievement.

I've had this problem as well, the last two mid-week events have not registered. (10/21/2025 and 10/28/2025)

I've had this issue too, two weeks in a row at least. Definitely finishing MWM, and then some.
