I had just cast Skyclave Apparition, and the timer appeared to be timing my opponent out. When their time ran out, the spell remained on the stack visual and somehow it was their turn. However, it skipped, Skyclave Apparition never hit the battlefield and one of my permanants was exiled. (with the stack visual still visible)
