It simply doesn't matter what "you had hoped" the Pass Bundle would do -- removing it is a gigantic middle finger to players. People liked the Pass Bundle and they were paying for it, and they wanted to keep paying for it. By removing it, you are telling those people -- "Hey, I don't care that you liked this, it wasn't making me enough money, so I am deleting it."

When you have nothing but disdain and contempt for your players, why would we keep playing your game?

Horribly greedy. I only justified spending money on arena because the pass bundle was a decent deal. I think I'll be saving money from now on if this doesn't come back.

The only thing I'd ever consider spending money on in this game. Without it you're not getting a cent out of me.

So I guess my $42.38 for each set release was not enough for you so you had to eliminate the pass bundle which actually saved money on the pass if you preordered it and then jacked up the price of the play bundle. I would get both the pass bundle for $14.99 plus tax and the play bundle for $24.99 plus tax for every set but now you have double the price of the play bundle (and while you do give more tokens I don't see double the value of it plus maybe I don't want to have to spend $50) and remove the pass bundle all together. This just seems like pure greed to me.

This is missing the whole point. The pass bundle allowed you to save $5 on the pass by preordering it early, what the heck is frustrating about saving $5. This whole thing is just greed, I cannot see any other reason behind it, it does not make sense, and I agree with others that I will not be buying anything else from arena until the pass bundle is brought back other than maybe the pass each set if I still feel it offers a good value at the increased price.

No more spending money on this game until the pass bundle is back. Why would I spend $50 USD on a pack bundle when only the shocklands and maybe a few other cards will see play in standard.

I haven't spent any money on Arena since the Omenpaths debacle-- was considering a bundle for this but the rampant, runaway greed from WOTC can't be accepted. I know they won't address this so they will not get another dollar from me. BE BETTER.

This was the only affordable pre-order option for me each month. It also gave me incentive to play every day. I'm basically being told that you don't want my money or my time by removing this option. Please restore it immediately, or I'm done giving a single cent to this game.

Yup, skipping the battle pass this time around, which means ducking out to skip the next New York set sooner since I won't have a sunk cost fallacy in the pass to feel bad about leaving behind.

A horrible move. I might just stop playing this game. Like American corporations and life, it just gets worse and worse and worse. The product always gets worse over time for profits. That means people need to stop paying.

I thought it was a bug at first. And then I realized yeah these people are just awful.

I am seeing some people saying the changes are fine and that you can just earn it for free. The issue is that with that mentality you will just watch as they continually implement more changes that just gradually change the landscape until it slowly resembles a mobile game where you pay absurd prices for anything and you'll justify it with "you can get it for free by playing the game". You are missing the critical point that is they saw what we enjoyed and the fact that we would get it continuously because it was a great value option and it had a very good rate of return. They saw this and went oh we can make money off of this, this is something that will hurt us in the long term if we allow the company this kind of thought process. We need to tell them with our voices and our wallets that we don't support them tearing away options that allow people to spend 15 dollars and then farm a good value and keeps them engaged with the game and more likely to spend more money for a short term monetary increase. AND they doubled the price of the play bundle, the "Through the Omen Paths" play bundle was 25 dollars and they doubled it to 50 saying essentially "if you wanna get easy access better cough up that money". If I'm spending 50 dollars I want it to reflect the value of that 50 dollars not reflect what the value of what THEY think the 50 dollars is worth cause they're blatantly telling us we're only money bags if we support this line of behavior. It is a dangerous thing to allow it long term as it will show them they can just continuously continue to increase prices and allow enshittification to slowly creep its way into the company from the investors to the CEO cause the investors saw the success of the Final fantasy set and went "why can't we do this all the time why not only up" when they want a short term return on their money and we want long term success. This will cause a direct conflict between the two parties and the CEO will fold to the investors otherwise they will be ousted so we need to directly say "we want this to stay and not allow price increases" or they will do it continuously and run away with it and by the time we feel moved to do anything by that point it will be too entrenched in the company values to remove.
