Rise of Sozin simply does not follow the rules of the game. During his second stage of the saga, it allows a player casting him to search a deck looking for a card name to get rid of, rather than the process that has been ruled in the physical game. The player casting it should name a card first, and then search the relevant zones to remove copies of the chosen card. This gives players an unfair advantage that is not in line with the card text.
