opponent had an Optimistic Scavenger with a Sheltered by Ghosts and an Ethereal Armor attached to it. the Sheltered by Ghosts exiled my Llanowar Elves. i killed the scavenger with a bitter triumph, losing 3 life and paying for the ward cost as normal. then the game froze and it took around 20 seconds for the game to start moving again but my Llanowar elves did not return. after that the game showed the Optimistic Scavenger with the stack of auras on it in the graveyard, like they were still attached. also when i played a second creature they left a hole in the middle, as if the game thought there should be a Llanowar elves there but clicking the empty space did nothing.
