Nylea's Oracle needs to be banned.
This card is horrible. The picture below is a turn 5 win on one of my first games with this deck. I was impressed by the speed i cant remember making too many turn 5 decks,if any. This isn't even the worst the deck is capable of. I played this deck for a bit and its absolutely atrocious. When my stoner calculator seen the start millions in my hand. i had to forfeit.
The strategy is simple Mana Ramp and stack green devotion. Green devotion is sneaky if you don't expect it. The first cast of Nylea's Oracle is the bait. it stacks the deck, the second cast it blows up.The worst part is the second cast is practically guaranteed because this cards stacks itself. This card is really sneaky because it also uses devotion. The crazy thing is Green devotion is actual easy and unusually powerful cards can easily stack it. Nobody tracks devotion unless there is a reason why. It catches players extremely unaware with multiplicative growth the doubles with every 2 mana, its really easy to imagine a million damage combat phase with enough draw and shear luck. This thing is a hidden nuke if you have the mana. A few of my wins did feel bad. I am so sorry to the people i may have seriously ****** off with this.
This is why i also loved Alchemy so much and i am so sad to see it go. Alchemy brings me back to my friends casual kitchen table unrestricted matches back in early 2000's. MTG: Arena is also a video game. I also want to mention pushing the limits of the game engine to its max is what i live for and Alchemy mostly provides. That can be a very fun way to play, I don't even think i am that great at it but every once in a while i have a stroke of genius. The little kid in me loves to see how high the numbers can go. This card is a number chaser that can shoot you to the moon but it does it in the most bs way.
Give this deck a shot, this one is a real heart pumper, and you can imagine broken phone from this one on the other end when you win. it feels bad to win with this one.
