Suggestion: Implement Transparent "Bracket Protection" for Brawl Queue
The current deck-weight and MMR matchmaking system in Brawl is a complete failure. Players who intentionally build casual, low-weight decks are constantly being forced into matches against Tier-1 "**** Queue" engines.
To fix this, MTG Arena needs to implement a transparent Bracket Protection system similar to how the community categorizes tabletop Commander tiers.
Decks should be dynamically locked into strict brackets (e.g., Bracket 1 for jank, Bracket 2 for fair/mid-range, Bracket 3 for optimized casual, and Bracket 4 for high-power engines like Pantlaza and Ygra). A glaringly obvious "Bracket 2" deck should mathematically NEVER be paired against a "Bracket 4" monstrosity.
Relying on hidden, volatile card weights has ruined format variance and forced casual players into constant Turn-Zero concessions. Implementing hard bracket boundaries is the only way to protect casual integrity and stop high-power queue bleed.
