I am a simple guy. I always knew that once I owned 4x copies of an entire set on Arena that further packs would yield 20 to 40 gems, unless maybe something from a bonus sheet made an appearance.

Armed with this knowledge, I decided to bite the bullet and use up an uncomfortable number of my rare and mythic wildcards to complete the entire set, which allows me to squeeze a few more gems back, which helps because the amount of disposable income I have available is uh, extremely limited at the moment.

Which brings me to the heart of the problem. If WotC wants to change how the Arena economy works and make adjustments then do it. By all means. But we need to be made acutely aware of these changes far in advance. I don't know why I had to learn that for FRA, if you were 4x complete of everything, they would then start sticking these cringey Commander cards in there instead, from FRC. If I would have been made aware of this decision beforehand then I could have saved like ~50 rare+mythic wildcards.

I am politely requesting a refund of my wildcards that were used to craft anything in FRA after the first week of release. It's pretty ridiculous to dip into the reserves like that and then still not accomplish what I have been trying to do. It's a disaster the whole way around. I shouldn't have to stumble upon this on Reddit either. When we've spent thousands of dollars and hours on this game then the least you can do is make it clear what our expectations should be.
