To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.
Example: Shivan Dragon doesn’t work
Choose the Category that describes your problem.
Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Companion Locator tab completely blank
Locator tab no longer functions. There are no events shown, no locations listed. Both in map and list view it is blank. It has been blank for several updates, at least since dragons of tarkir

News article
Clicking on the News article don't get you there but instead to Spiderman.
I wanted to read the how to make Magic article but instead companion leads me to spiderman which i have zero interest in. I experienced this issue for a Long Time and haven't seen a fix already so i wanted to Report it1 vote -
sideboard companion
When playing with a companion like Jegantha the game will for some reason lock you out of certain sideboard cards, for some reason it registers the companion as both card number 15 and 16
this happens wether or not the sideboard has cards that don't meet companion conditions

"Companion App Secret Lair inaccuracies"
The list of Secret Lairs in the app should not include sold-out products, like the Spider-Man basic lands. Misleading, especially to newer players.

Unfinity cards legality
On the companion app, the legality is wrong on Gray Merchant of Alphabet and similar unfinity cards.

You took away the “plus” button on the Companion Advanced Search bar
Without this functionality it is impossible to search for two conditions at once. Also searching for “flying vigilance” returns (some) creatures with flying and vigilance because that is the order the words appear on cards, but searching for “vigilance flying” returns zero results. This is ridiculous, bring back the old functionality.

Don’t send marketing spam notifications especially after it is turned off in settings. Iphone 16

Boox support (android flexible 12 )
It would be great if the boox e- ink could install the companion, I am using air 3c and I miss companion running on it.

Why the 3rd column of number 16 is lower than number 17 and numer 96 is higher than 97 (being the first two tied in both cases)

I dont need “pre-order” notifications.
If you are gonna use companion to push advertisement notifications i’ll delete the **** thing when its not needed.

Never received packs in Arena from prerelease event
I joined a Tarkir prerelease event but I never received packs in MTGA. I paid for the box, did the event, and I never got my packs in arena. Is there anyway I can get my packs. Can you check my event history and see I joined a prerelease event and give me my digital packs please? I am on android version 15. Stuff like this makes me miss when they just put the redeem code in the box.

Old App Layout desired
The old version of the MTG companion app was simple and elegant. The new version is more limited, not allowing one person to change their life total while another applies commander damage for example. I miss that old life tracker design, and wish it was an option in the current version of the app.

During the event the Companion app keeps logging me out or asking me to re-enter my name.

Viewing back of a card in companion app
I cannot see a way to view the backside of a double-face card in the companion app (android). The only button that appears is to swap between art styles. A large flip button would be an excellent addition for these cards.
