To Report a Bug or Provide Feedback
Before reporting a bug, check to see if it has already been reported. In the Issue Title below search for specific key terms from your issue.
Example: Shivan Dragon (Note: Partial words won’t show up, so use “Shivan” instead of “Shiv.”)
If your issue has been reported already, simply click the vote button to show us you’ve experienced that issue as well. If you feel you have additional information that could be helpful to us in tracking down the issue please feel free to add it.
If your bug has not been reported, please do so now! Update the Issue Title to reflect the problem you’ve encountered.

Describing the problem in the following fashion helps make clear what happened and allows us to investigate the issue faster.
- Summarize the problem
- List the steps you took that led to the problem
- What was the result that happened when you followed those steps
- What was the result you expected to happen when you followed those steps
Example: The life tracker didn’t track my life.
- Open the life tracker and start a game
- Try to remove or add life to my life total
- Actual: my life total didn’t change
- Expected: my life total goes up or down
You can provide additional information that can also help us conclude an investigation quickly. Great information to include:

Reporting a bug
There is an issue with discarding down to the stock normal hand size when a players turn is over. For instance, when using Dragonweave Tapestry and getting quite the handful of cards after casting some spells, the game says how many cards need to be discarded to get down to the maximum hand size allowed. After selecting how many need to go, the “submit” feature to discard down doesn’t prompt, and the player literally loses all their time because the cards won’t discard.
This is on an iPad - iOS.

Card scrolling
Please Bring Back swiping between card searches in Companion app.
I don’t know what happened since an update, but in the “Companion” app for Magic, we seem to have lost a feature that I personally enjoyed very much.
I used to click on “cards” in the bottom corner, then “advance search”, and look up a subtype of card. Say “Angels” for example. I then could click on the first card that was brought up, read all about it and see the art work, and when I was done, I could swipe left and it would show me the next card,…

Bug: Account won't stay logged in.
Between every round of a tournament my account will log out of the Companion app and sometimes during the event, so when trying to report wins and loses it will not log the results to the event organizer.

Companion feedback
I want to see if the Companion can show me the number of people who have participated in an event such as FNM I know it can show me all the events I have participated in, but I am looking to see if I can see let’s say my LGS had four people yesterday.

Wayta incorrect ruling
The ruling to Wayta reads:

Wayta, Trainer Prodigy's last ability affects only triggered abilities whose trigger conditions refer specifically to damage being dealt, such as the ability granted by Mephidross Vampire or the last ability of Wrathful Raptors. "Mephidross vampire does not have a triggered ability that triggers of damage being dealt.
It has "Each creature you control is a Vampire in addition to its other creature types and has "Whenever this creature deals damage to a creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.""
This triggers of dealing damage, not receiving damage.

Customer reviews do not function.
Players have recieved no options to leave a customer review rating. The companion app gives no options. No notifications of any kind or options to leave reviews. Please allow for general ratings rather than based off of just events. Stores should be rated on player opinion in general not just if they liked the draft event they did last night. Store metrics shouldnt be enforced on systems in place that have zero working functionality. If youre reading this please mark this as critical because this is not a localized issue. Companion - Commander - Life Tracker Starts at 0
There is a bug with the Life Tracker for Commander. Even when selecting starting life totals to be 40, the Life Tracker displays “0” for all players.

Unable to log in to MTG Compani
I am unable to log in to the MTG Companion app.
Issue: Cannot log in from the MTG Companion login screen.
Environment:
• Device: iPhone 17
• iOS version: 26.3.1
• Language: Japanese
• App version: 1.11.7
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to log in from all login screens in the Companion app.
Actual Behavior: The loading animation plays for about 2 seconds, then returns to the login screen.
Login is not successful.

Widescreen Bug STILL EXISTING AFTER 3 YEARS
The bug where Arena drops out of Fullscreen resolution for widescreen monitors every time you click on anything in the game is back with this latest update.
It sucks, and this time a registry edit doesn't fix it. Y'all need to either fix this stupid stupid bug or stop doing updates that undo our homemade fixes of this stupid problem. Seriously, fixing this will take one person one afternoon to make it not be a problem ever again. I'd do it for you, but you can't afford my rates

Account and Security
Please add options to create an account and sign in using Apple, Google, Discord, and Twitch. These features are available on D&D Beyond but missing from Magic The Gathering apps. Also, adding two-factor authentication would enhance security. Thank you!

My local game store is not showing in the app
Zombie Games is not showing in the app but we play both constructed and draft there all the time. Why is it not showing up?

Life tracker quality of life.
I use the companion app to track life, but the life counter does not accept a long press or holding the screen to subtract or add life in multiples of five.

Sorting set view by name is broken (gives completely random list each time)
Select a set, completely random sample of cards that ought to be in alphabetical order. Neither name-ascending or name-descending sorts work (and give different results each time they are selected). Screenshot from iOS is hopefully suggestive of the problem (name descending selected, completely non-lexical sorting given)
