This is EXTREMELY easy to code and is an absolute MUST! Simply allow us to record a series of actions as a macro loop and let us choose a number of times to execute it. **** if you hired me for a week I could code the thing myself and I'm a novice coder. It would really only take a couple minutes to code it but I'm accounting for the possibility of needing to learn archaic code to determine where I could inject the method and have it work.
This is exactly how it works in paper. Demonstrate a loop and state how many times you're doing it with opponent able to say they have a response at a particular point. Simply give the opponent priority during the first 2 executions of the loop and if they don't respond by then resolve the rest of the loop.
It's terrible either playing a combo with a loop or playing against one because people feel the NEED to force them to execute the combo in case they can't execute the number of clicks necessary before the rope forces them to pass the turn. It means both players end up wasting 10+ minutes in a game where one of the players have a guaranteed win if it were paper and neither player is having FUN!
It's absurd this request has been over a year with no comment and I'm sure it's been requested several times prior to this. PLEASE WIZARDS do something about this!

They need to nerf A LOT of things. There isn't a single matchup that is fun to play in the format....and this is coming from someone who grinds it to top 250 every month and has a sustained 75% win rate with over 500 matches in 3 months. It's the most absurd win rate I've ever had or heard of with that many matches in bo3....and instead of being delighted and having a blast....I'm dragging my feet and treating every match as a chore to get the qualifier.
Sowing Mycospawn is a HUGE problem but so is Ajani, Lotus Veil, Hymn of the ages, Pyrogoyf, Tamiyo, Icetill Explorer, Orim's Chant and many others. EVERYONE is playing solitaire instead of actual magic.
Design went down hill in a huge way after coldsnap. Games focused around snowballing threats, land destruction, fast combo, or things like Orim's chant just isn't fun.
Constructed used to be AMAZING whether it was type 1 (vintage), type 1.5 (legacy), type 2 (standard) through cold snap. It was diverse both players got to actually play the game, and there were many decisions from both players. Now there are few, incredibly impactful decisions and opening hands mattering more than deck composition.
It used to be that you would play based off of what cards were left in your deck but now most games are decided based off of what was in your opening hand.

I fully agree with this post but I also want a ton of other things nerfed too. Ajani Bombardment is similarly unfun and too strong, as is lotus veil storm combo, as is .... honestly the whole format.
I have a sustained 75% win rate in Bo3 historic with 500 matches over the past 3 months....and I can't think of a single matchup that is fun to play. The format is full of land destruction and OP run away with the game combos within the first 3 turns of the game. There is no back and forth and there is no interesting decisions. The entire format needs a huge overhaul with a lot of bans to slow it down and design really needs to stop printing OP cheap threats.
I have the largest win rate in this format over the past 3 months than I have ever had in my 30 years of playing the game and I am having the least amount of fun I have ever had too. It's pretty easy not to have fun in a game like magic when you're losing....but it's a bad sign when you're not having fun when you're winning. The only reason I keep playing the format is because it's easy to get top 250 to grind qualifiers.

I similarly marked this as critical. I have 4,000 + hours into Arena, have played paper since 1998, and am frequently top 250, but Sparky is such torture that it constantly has me wondering if I should just quit magic again.
Not being able to opt out of tutorial and anything to do with Sparky is completely indefensible and the frequency that the game forgets and forces you to interact with Sparky again is INSANE. I am completely speechless on how an application that brings in this kind of money could continue to have these and many other issues for as long as it does. As someone who has worked for a large corporation as a programmer for a decade in the past this is something that would never be acceptable in most circles and many of the issues are clearly a lack of following good coding principles.

3 and a half years later and still no progress on this. Please wizards this is a CRITICAL missing feature to make the game like paper.
