Wanted to report this is still happening as of the Foundations Arena Open. Thankfully that Sealed pool was pretty bad but if it had been a good one even remotely I would've been pretty sad.

If there's not already a secondary check for "did we successfully queue this person into the game?" then it'd probably be a good idea to put on in. I've seen myself queue into people and then get given a Draw which I always assumed was some kind of filter catching this but maybe there's a really specific timing that gets around it.

This happened to me once yesterday during a Sealed draft and once today during an Alchemy draft.

Same happened to me.

This has just happened to me as well (we are currently in OTJ format)

My Id is Tinyfin#41000, 30 minutes ago from this post, I queque a quick draft MKM. But the queque time was 5m. I got to do something so i canceled the queque and i was counted a lost. Made me wasted 5000 gold and a good draft. deck

drafted a deck on premier draft. built a deck. pressed start. realized i wanted to change something. pressed cancel. game loaded. game ended with no interaction. no loss / win displayed. made the change i wanted. played a game. the loss was then registered after the 2nd game.

Playing Priemier draft on mtg arena. wanted to change my deck before a match. pressed cancel to do so. a game loaded. then i was forced to leave. did not display as a loss. made the change. played a game. then saw the loss.

I was playing Dominaria quick draft (I was 0-2) and I cancelled a search right before I saw "Waiting for Opponent". Soon after I queued for another match and won it. But when I looked at my record I was at 0-3 instead of 1-2. Presumably the search I cancelled counted as a loss.

Credited with a loss before playing a game. I drafted, built my deck and then hit play. Immediately I cancelled before matchmaking and put my phone away. When I came back, I played a game and then realized I had an extra loss.
