Draft recorded a loss for a canceled game
I canceled my game before queuing to make an adjustment, and it successfully canceled the game, but still recorded a loss for me.

This happened to me too. I noticed that when I cancelled the game, the message had just changed from "Currently Waiting" to "Waiting For Opponent". It's possible that the cancel button may be available for slightly too long allowing games to be exited after an opponent is matched.

I drafted Premier BRO and after I drafted I started playing. While I was waiting for an opponent I cancelled the game finding screen bc something came up.
Two hours later I log back in and get in a game with the same deck. I lose my first game and now I have two losses instead of one.
As such, I would like to request a refund for the draft gems it cost to enter.
Thank you in advance.

I received a game loss during a premier draft. I'm two games into the draft and I should be 1-1. I played my first game (won), and then cancelled out of finding an opponent for a second game. I closed the app without checking but when I logged in to play my second game I noticed that I had a loss. Note that I did play a legitimate second game of the draft, which I lost. My record should be 1-1 not 1-2. Requesting a refund for my entry

Finished a Premier Draft for Brother's War. Tried to start a game. After 3 min I cancelled and got a loss.

Tried my first game of premier draft. Drafted fine, built my deck, then waited in the matchmaking for 30 minutes before hitting "cancel". It gave me a loss despite me never entering a game. Very dissapointed

Event Loss recorded for a cancelled game - I queued for a match during the Arena open qualifier and spent 5,000 gems. I canceled the game before the game started. The game brought me back to the event page, and I had a loss recorded despite the game being canceled successfully.

I was searching for an SNC Quick Draft game and I cancelled out of the search. As I was cancelling out, it matched me with an opponent. I restarted the search to see if I can enter the game. It did put me in a game (which I won) but then when I came back to the main menu, I had both a win and a loss.
Can I get reimbursement of my draft entry fee?
This seems like it's been a consistent problem. I haven't had it happen in a while but I do recall getting this bug before.

It was my first game match in Premier draft when I tried to enter a match then pressed the Cancel button during matchmaking because I had to leave, and I am now 0-1! Apparently, the matchmaker had me matched with someone and interpreted my 'cancel' as a loss.

I was playing a draft game when it flipped to the "waiting for server" screen for a second or two. Then the game suddenly returned to the draft home screen and I had a new loss recorded. I immediately played another game and was queued with a new player. I was able to complete the new game without any issues. Can I get my gems back since a draft loss was recorded for a game I didn't lose, and which tweaked out due to no fault of my own?

The same thing happened to me a year after this was reported.

A lot of games are lost when pressing "Cancel" while waiting for the game to begin.
At first it seems normal as in I go to the draft-menu site but then later on it record the game as a loss. -
I queued for a Premier Draft of Neon Dynasty and I clicked cancel after having waited over twenty seconds.
I play a Standard Ranked game and come back to play my draft and I suddenly have a loss for a game I didn't even play. -

I saw another comment about filing as a "problem with my event" here: https://mtgarena-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/requests/new, so I did that too. I can delete this if that is the preferred way to file the bug

Observed on platforms: PC
Reproduction steps:
1. Queue for quick draft
2. Click the cancel button after waiting a while
3. Observe match record after waiting a while
4. Repeat several timesExpected:
The user's match record should remain unaffected any time after clicking cancel.
The game does not load for either player.Actual:
After some delay, the user that clicked the "cancel" button receives a match loss sometime.
The game does not load for the user that clicked the "cancel" button, but if a match loss was received, the game might have loaded for the matched player that did not click the "cancel" button.Attachments:
1. Game log
2. Screenshot of Arena showing my 1-1 match record
3. Screenshot of Arena tutor showing a 1-0 match recordWorkaround:
Don't cancel quick draft queues.Additional notes:
This has happened twice to me -

I waited in que for a minute and decided to cancel because my mobile device was going to die, when I plugged my phone in and went to my draft I had received my third loss and had to claim rewards

Okay, how is this voting system supposed to accomplish anything? Genuine bugs will get completely buried under quality-of-life updates - some of which aren't even an improvement, and most of which will surely never be implemented.
