Modal double faced cards (MDFC) always operate based on their main (top) face when they are not on the battlefield. For example, if you were instructed to put a MDFC onto the battlefield, you cannot select what side it ETBs, it will always ETB as its top side.

When the Brutal Cathar exiled the flipped ORR, it changed zones to exile and no longer functions as the flipped card. Once it was returned from exile to the battlefield, it returned as the face side, the saga. This is the correct result of a MDFC changing from exile to the battlefield.

The only effect which can permanently modify a card through zone changes is perpetual.

Atraxa says 'When Atraxa, Grand Unifier enters the battlefield, reveal the top ten cards of your library. For each card type, you may put a card of that type from among the revealed cards into your hand. '

This is not drawing. The reason for the wording is to achieve exactly what you said. Words such as 'draw' and 'cast' have defined meanings in MTG and change how cards function. Sheoldred, The Apocalypse is designed to not trigger when cards change zones, but only when a player draws.

Basically, you define drawing as 'When a card enters a player's hand from their library'. MTG Defines drawing as: '121.1. A player draws a card by putting the top card of their library into their hand. This is done as a turn-based action during each player’s draw step. It may also be done as part of a cost or effect of a spell or ability.'

If you are instructed to put a card into a zone, such as your hand, it is neither cast or drawn, but changes zones without triggering effects based on such keywords. For Sheoldred's ability to trigger, the card must be taken from the TOP of the library and placed into their hand during the draw phase, or happen as part of an action as a result of the instruction 'draw a card'.

If you used the kunai bug and were in ranked or an event, you will get banned. At least it was a week and not 3 months like some people. At a guess, I'd say they have backdated use to the time they released the announcement about a week before the banwave, plus if you used it in many ranked/event games no matter the time you'd be banned.

In matchmaking today, I've faced almost nothing except minion of the mighty and hammer time decks. I've watched my friend play on his own account running almost the same deck and he hasn't seen either decks in over 20 games. Out of the last hour I've played, 90% of the decks I've faced are running these two decks. Either that's all people are playing in the play queue in historic and explorer, or I'm being forced matched against these decks. I'm not running decks which have either of these cards, and if I don't run turn 1/2 answers, I can't get a game which can last beyond turn 3.

I've contacted support and they've assured me 'matchmaking is running as intended'. In that case, their intention is to put midrange/control decks up against jank turn 1-2 mulligan to win on turn 2 combos until the player gets so frustrated, they build decks that just counter this strategy.

Of course, the other explanation that I'm being matchmade against them almost exclusively because of a bug or improper implementation isn't possible according to level 1 support agents, who block my request at first contact.

I would include log files, but it won't let me upload a 52mb file.
