Another game of 8 turns w/o drawing a land. Hand full of 3 drops I can't play because the initial low draw never saw another land. You really need to do something about fixing this HUGE flaw in the game instead of just shining on all the complaints about how bad it is...

FIX THE F!CKING SHUFFLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
What makes you think that going 8 turns w/o drawing a single land in a deck that's >30% mana is in any way reflective of reality or in the least bit fun for either player? It's not fun for the winner when they're opponent is clearly being hosed, and it is certainly not fun for the player on the receiving end of the abuse. GET WITH THE POGROM! DEATH TO INCOMPETENT PROGRAMMING!

Go back & read the title again. Fix the broken shuffler already!

Still getting ridiculous long strings of no or nothing but mana, while my opponents are getting perfect draws. Have you considered fixing the undeniably broken shuffler?
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
You still haven't fixed the shuffler. Seriously, none of my opponents are playing decks w/ >60% land, why are they consistently drawing (non-ramped, mind you!) 2x as much land as I do? It's annoying as all get out to lose a game w/ a handful of 2 drops & 3 drops that you couldn't get out because 8 turns in you're still limping along with just 2 lands from your initial (mulliganned 1x) draw...

9 turns to draw a land in a deck that's 1/3 mana. If this was anything like a rare occurrence, I would have no complaints, but it's far too typical for you to defend. Not expecting to win every game, but I'd like to actually get a chance to *play*!

Getting really tired of my opponents receiving perfect draws while I get mana hosed. This is far too consistent to be "random" chance. Fix the shuffler so it stops doing this nonsense.

An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
My decks are all over 1/3rd mana, with only a small fraction of that [~1/10th or so] being slow lands [exotic/non-basics] yet the only time I draw more than 2 lands in my opening hand, they will be the exotics; normally I'm shorted land with only 1 or 2, usually the exotics. When I'm forced to mulligan to get a starting draw of at least 2 basic lands and then go 5 turns# w/o drawing more, while my opponent drops land every turn, I will concede. So while you're buggering my stats, you'll see a bunch of other players' stats zooming up from playing blissfully short games instead of my hanging on to try & overcome your broken shuffler. Enjoy! #StopCheatingThePlayers

Perhaps you should consider doing something about it? Like, you know, actually fixing the shuffler? #STOPCHEATINGTHEPLAYERS

Exotic lands form a small fraction of my overall mana load in my decks, yet overwhelming make up the preponderance of my draws [when I get to draw lands at all!] This is yet another aspect of the FIX THE G!D! SHUFFLER!!! issue, but needs to be addressed whenever you do finally get around to rectifying the overwhelmingly glaring fault in Arena.

Seriously sux getting mana hosed while opponents get perfect f!cking draws. Yet, I can guarantee they aren't playing a significantly higher %age of land in their decks than I am, if as much at all. When are you going to address this issue?

... to fix the G!D! broken shuffler! Just lost two games in a row in a draft tournament because my opponent had 2x the mana I did, of all the colors needed, while I was stuck w/ a hand full of cards I couldn't play because I couldn't draw the dominant color of land in my deck...
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented

An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
My opponents simply cannot be running decks that are 70% mana; there's no chance they could beat me if they were. Yet how do they consistently draw 2x the mana I do? Or, and this happens far too often as well, they draw the exact cards they need to counter me, yet all I draw 6, 7, 8 or more turns in a row is land? Fix your pseudorandom algorithm please!

8 lands in a row. My opponent, however, was drawing exactly what he needed (yet again.) Fix the shuffler!
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
There is no chance on this Earth that my opponents are playing decks that are 70% mana, yet they consistently draw 2x the mana I do. I cannot win if I am always confronted by someone who has a mana advantage, compounded by card & creature advantage since their decks can utilize their other facets since they are unhampered by insufficient mana as I am [when I am not being mana flooded, drawing nothing but land 6, 7, 8 or more turns in a row!] FIX THE G!D! Too damn irritating to continue w/ the immense frustration that comes from playing w/ decks that are too mana-heavy to survive IRL, yet still leave you gasping for mana or else drowning: there is no middle ground! Everyone I've turned on to Arena has given up on it because the G!D! desk sorter is so borked. Life will probably go much better for me w/ the reduced level of frustration and more time that hasn't been lost to generating unhealthy levels of angst from playing your game. Sorry you haven't been able to get your act together to fix this issue despite the thousands of player requests that you PAY ATTENTION TO THIS MAJOR FLAW. Sux to be you, I guess. Too bad, as aside from this one glaring fault I really love the way you've impoved upon the old Magic Online game [which I tried when it 1st came out a decade ago but it was too grindingly slow to put up with...]

Still waiting! Had the new 2021 _MASSIVE_ release download... and then another MASSIVE update the next day, but the shuffler is still broken. Working somewhat well in the special event with the pre-made decks, but still utterly borked in standard play. Just lost 3 games in a row because I'm either waiting around for a 3rd mana 6 turns into the game [when my decks are all 1/3rd mana or more] or all I get are the exotic (slow) lands when they make up a tiny fraction of the overall mana available. WTF is wrong w/ your deck sorting algorithm, & why do you refuse to fix it? It really shouldn't be that hard...

When I can't even play a monocolor deck because I'm waiting to draw more mana for 6 turns in a deck that's over 1/3rd mana while my opponent is tearing me a new one with a multicolor deck, something is severely out of whack. If this was a singular occurrence, I wouldn't mention it, but it has been a regular thing since I started playing during beta. Surely you're aware, due to the sheer volume of complaints, but is there any plan for fixing this code?
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
Seriously, when? I'm only asking so I'll know how long I have to continue playing games waiting for a basic land card of the majority of the type in my deck, while I keep drawig the few slow lands of the minor color, if any at all. [Seriously considering removing Lotus Vale from all my decks, since despite it comprising only 1/10 or less of my total land allotment, it comes up as one of only 2 lands in my initial draw something like 1/4 or 1/3rd of the time! Instant mulligan, since I won't be drawing a 2nd standard land to sacrifice til my 3rd or 4th turn, based on past shuffler performance!]
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
Had to mulligan TWICE in a deck that's over 1/3rd land due to only 1 land in each draw. Slow lands are only a miniscule part of my deck, yet they come up with more regularity than standard lands in my initial draws! After 2 mulligans, I then drew nothing but land for 4 turns, 1 creature, and 3 more lands before losing [opponent forced a discard, so no chance to play creature. Bogus! This is typical, yet IRL would be a rare fluke not worth remembering. EVERYONE complains about the poor deck randomization in Arena, yet WotC seems to have zero interest in fixing this. Why?
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
The present Ikoria event [10k GP to buy in, some ridiculous amount of gems] is absolutely distasteful because of the previously bad, now [post Ikoria] horrendous deck shuffler. Initial draw 2 lands [remaining 5 cards, only 2 in that color] & then 5 turns w/o drawing land in a deck that's over 1/3 mana. Odds of that are what, 1 in 243? Yet that's almost normal for your !@#$@#$ messed up deck randomizer. Or the previous game, which I narrowly won, because I only drew non-land cards once every 4 turns & my opponent missed several opportunities to walk away with the game. What is the problem? PUBLISH YOUR DECK SHUFFLING ALGORITHM SO A COMPETENT PROGRAMMER WHO PLAYS ARENA CAN GIVE IT A GLANCE & TELL YOU WHERE THE BUG IS!
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
The usual deck shuffler problem has definitely been worse in my Ikoria draft tournaments. All my decks are over 35% mana to have some hope of not having to mulligan every start. 1st game: 1st draw mulligan [1 land], 2nd draw 5 lands; drew more lands than other cards (lost game due to interface issue; the new "reversed out" ability icons on green cards leads to cognitive dissonance issues, attacking when you shouldn't, etc.) 2nd game: 1st draw NO land, 2nd draw ONE land [should avg. 2.5 lands in initial draw, so should usually have either 2 or 3 lands, occasional 4, rare 1 or 5] Was forced to mulligan twice, with results as expected. 3rd game: 4 lands in initial draw, lost game by 8th round with 10 lands in play. Can't beat your opponent when they're holding all the cards [rational mana draw, more cards in hand, cast more creatures & thwart yours.] I'm beginning to think I should just give up on Arena, like my two other friends [the one who turned me on to M:tG in the 1st place, who still has some sealed Unlimited boosters, etc.; the other is my former flatmate whom I turned on to M:tG back during the Time of the Dark & Legends. Both were excited by Arena initially, but neither plays now due to the f**ked up PRNG producing deck shuffles that are utterly stochastic...
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
It is widely recognized that there's a real problem with Arena's deck-shuffling algorithm. I was wondering if you would reveal what you're using as a seed so the users can figure out if there is something we can do to fix the problem on our end [ie: the seed is the system clock time, so rebooting & waiting some given amount of time might enable one to get out of the "no land/all land" draw cycle.]
An error occurred while saving the comment Surculus#70236 commented
Seriously, when are you going to look into your deck randomizing algorithm? I've been complaining about this for a year now, and it still is the same thing, over & again: Deck w/ over 35% mana should be drawing a land every 3rd draw, on average. Initial draw should be 2 or more lands, shouldn't have to mulligan every other start for lack of mana. I shouldn't EVER go 5 or more turns with nothing but mana, or no mana at all, yet this is the norm. I have 2 Lotus Fields in a 250 card deck; I should rarely if ever have one in my initial draw, instead of once out of every 4 or 5! WTH can't you devote some attention to fixing this fundamental issue w/ game play?

Read the title. Read it again! I reported this bug weeks ago, why hasn't it been fixed yet?

Grim Tutor doesn't sort the cards the way other "search your deck" abilities do; there's a bunch of random cards, a group of lands, and more random cards. Yes, it does group duplicate cards together, so that's a win, but in a large deck, scrolling thru is problematic. How about sorting the cards by casting cost, or providing a search by name option? I was unable to find Eat to Extinction before my timer ran out, and naturally, the next turn my opponent was able to get his indestructible enchantment creature into play... A search function would have come in mighty handy!

7 mulligans in a row before I got a reasonable draw of 3 mana in a deck that's over 30% mana. 4 in a row of a single land, then 2 of two. How can you look at yourselves in the mirror w/ programming this bad?
