An asset error occurred during your last play session -
Shazion#59552 commented
Hi just adding to this as well, every time I launch the client it has to revalidate the files even after a normal play session and closing the game normally. This wouldn't be too bad if it didn't take 15 minutes every time

Like many others, EVERY time I have opened Arena since the ZNR update, it says "An asset error occurred during your last play session." Then it proceeds to spend ~10 minutes loading up the client.

I just got my first match in sealed interrupted by an asset error. Payed 2000 gems for it, and I am sure as *******'s going to be reported as a lost match. As a paying customer, this is not acceptable.

This. I reinstalled to try and fix the boot errors and now I get the "Asset Error" thing on literally every startup, something that only used to happen on 80% of startups before ZNR

Already got this suspiciously often, but now it's EVERY time I start the app, and I just got through reinstalling.

After the latest Zendikar patch, every time I open the game, it takes about 15 minutes due to "Asset error".
This is unplayable, and until you fix it, I won't even be bothering. No game is worth a 15 minute load screen.

This is also happening to me since Zendikar Rising, on two different computers, and on my old machine its about a 20 minute wait for the validation to finish (about 5 minutes on more powerful desktop). Everything runs ok when I get it.

Lost match in premier draft due to this. I had already won two. Come on.

I continue to get this error, even after completely reinstalling Arena.

Same issue for me since yesterday / this morning. Game works fine, but every time I open the game it "validates asset files" which takes much longer than needed.

I've gotten this error the last 3 times I've opened the application after the September 18 patch.
I've not experienced any crashes and the game has been running mostly fine (with occasional waiting for server to respond issues) with no problems that I would relate to "assets" on my system.
I'm playing on a PC. -

Same happened to me

We better get some free stuff for this. Constant black screens on launch day, now this. Along with your blown coverage for the last major event. You guys act like we don't spend money on essential thin air, we are currently receiving less than thin air. I love magic but the continued lack of regard to the consumer cant be tolerated. Attached is a screen shot of the 4th time between two different devices that ive had to sit for 20 plus minutes to just launch your POS client. Come on man Ive paid money to play your game you could at least provide your end of the deal. **Steps off Soap Box**

"An asset error occurred during your last play session. Validating asset files to ensure stability, this may take a while." This happens when I start the client and in the middle of the game it will crash, Mouse studders/freezes when in game. "Lost" two games of ranked due to this. All I want to do is buy some gems please let me give you money by fixing this

I started getting this error with the Zendikar Rising update. It occurs every time I open Arena. I have had Arena since the Beta and have never seen this issue before (Windows 10 OS). Once the game finally loads though, it seems to work fine - no disconnects or other errors.
