I have normal session and normal exit! Why i see every time i start game stupid "An asset error occurred during your last play session"?! Why i must wait and waste so many time?! Wizards your MTGA is a WORST technical implementation. This is not like "bad", this is real madness and mediocrity!

Same here, lost a game on Zendikar Premier Draft because of a disconnect + the "an asset error occurred"... I am not sure if I could really play anymore with these stupid loses.

The game never actually crashes for me. I do get the "an asset error occurred" error every time I start up the game or log out and re-login with another account.
That process takes for ever to complete and is infuriating!

Game is almost unplayable since the zendikar update. After the initial update i got the black screen everytime I logged in. That improved but then there was another patch yesterday and that made things worse for me. I get a message every time i log in that says an asset error occured and that it has to stabilize, pic attached. Also, the game is super laggy, gets stuck loading all the time and randomly disconnects. PLEASE FIX

Same problem ongoing since Zendikar. In addition the client is laggy as heck, stutters the entire PC in between games (freezing mouse) and has become a terrible piece of garbage.
This needs to be sorted out and people need to be compensated for the awful experiences and lost product/games they are experiencing.

Same problem ever since the zendikar rising patch. I’ve even been prompted for an update in the middle of a premier draft and I ended with with completely random draft picks for 2 packs.
Also every time the server drops me and I try to reconnect, this check occurs and I end up timing out in a match.

I've lost two zendikar premier drafts because my game interrupts when this happens, and it's happened 5 times. that's real life money lost to this for no reason.

Why on gods green earth is this happening STILL??!!!! Upon every launch I have to go through validating assets. If you want to drive your customer base towards digital during this time of crisis make sure the app you use to do so functions.

There are comments about this issue going back to July!
C’mon Wizards, let us know how to fix this.
We just want to play magic.
Please? -

Im stuck at the "An asset error occurred during your last play session.
Validating asset files to ensure stability, this may take a while.
5%The percentage doesnt move. It just stays at 5%
I have force closed the game and started it up again.
It starts at 3% goes up to 5% and stops.
Please help -

My internet disconnected during a game, and when I logged back in, I got the asset error message and had to wait 15 minutes get back onto Arena. I lost my game because of this.

I keep getting asset error when starting the app. I just downloaded the latest update and still same asset error.

Happened to me mid-match in a Zendikar premier draft. By the time I was able to force close and restart the app, I had lost a turn or so and the game was essentially lost. Really sucks to lose nt because of my play or even connectivity issues on my part, but because the app itself is unstable.

Everytime I start the MTGA application, I get:
"An asset error occured during your last play session"
This is causing the app to churn for several minutes before I can start using the game.
