Error Updating Data
The game is stuck on startup.
It says : "Error Updating Data - Please check your connection and try again".
Obviously my connection work just fine. I think this is a bug.

Same issue but it's September now. Was playing this morning on my cell, now it's stuck. How to fix? Un-installed & reinstalled, no help.

I started getting this a few days ago. I have tried reinstalling but that did not help. I also tried running through Steam but that didn't help either. I can still access my account using my Android phone.

This is still a problem for me, I've tried all the fixes and none of them work! Game went kaput a week ago and hasn't resolved itself. Please sort this out!!

Same error. Tried reinstalling, rebooting the phone, cleaning cache, nothing works. Honestly, just hire some competent programmers already, it's one thing after another this year.

- This problem occurs on the fresh installation
- My connection is OK
- Router reboot did not help
- PC restart did not help
- IPV6 disable did not help
- Firewall or antivirus disable did not help
- Proxy disable did not help
- Reinstall or installing on the other platforms did not help
- Reset all the network settings did not help
- The fresh installation on the ther PC it worked -

Same thing happening here, even after a re-install. Also at leat for me it seems to be account specific since I can login at a different account

Disabled IPv6 on Windows 10, instantly fixed
Go to Settings
Select Network & internet
Select Status
Select Change adapter options
Right-click on your active network adapter
Select Properties
Uncheck the Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) checkbox
Click OK to save the changes -

I just kept trying and trying (like over 100 times), and eventually I was able to get in and start downloading (I had removed and reinstalled app). The download stalled so I kept trying some more. Eventually I got it and downloaded and everything went back to normal. I don't know if developers did something on their end and that is why I eventually got through.

First time getting this error... only option given is "retry"... which only gives you the same error message. Have tried all options and nothing seems to fix it! Oh, and of course my wifi has a great connection and is running without any issues or interruptions.
