Match Timer Expired, All my Spell targets were auto selected.
So the following steps lead me to have a game I should've won resulting in a loss because the game timed out my turn and auto selected spell targets that were currently on the stack waiting to resolve.
Board state:
Opponent had two Solemn Simulacrum, a token of Ajani's Pridemate, and Soul Warden. They also had the Planeswalker Ajani that spawns aforementioned token. They had approximately 9 lands or more.
My side:
Three Storm Kiln Artist. Spectacle Mage, A Smothering Tithe, Anointed Procession, Midnight Clock, Thousand Year Storm, 8 Lands and climbing into the Hundred Range for Treasure tokens.
I played three to four spells for the entire turn. I played a single opt to start...then I got enough tokens plus lands with clock on 9 to spur it to 12 and redraw a new hand. With the new hand I played out another Opt, triggers the thousand year and Artists, make tokens for each spell and copy, which was 2 but Anointed made the token generation doubled, drew 2 more cards. Played Cathartic Reunion. Thousand Year and Artists Trigger, more treasures and 3 total Cathartic play. Draw 9 cards. Out of the nine I found several double spells like Teach By Example and decided to play them. I played the first and there were a total of 4 on the stack. Played the second, total of 12 on the stack. Played Sublime Epiphany. Chose return nonland and target player draws a card and I was able on two time outs (no idea why timeouts occur when I am locked in a game action waiting the resolution of triggers that haven't loaded yet...) only select 2 targets. I had 24-28 total Sublime Epiphany spells that went auto and hit all of my board and made me draw cards. My opponent won because my board state was reduced dramatically and my turn was auto skipping itself. Great job team.
