unable to submit deck friendly play
hi, i tried playing a friendly game between me and my wife and it keeps saying unable to submit deck, i just played on monday with my wife and had zero issues it seems that this new update has messed with our accounts pretty bad. please fix this i greatly appreciate it

Not being able to play this tournament was a huge dissapointments. This is a huge hit to how I view Arena. Especially as this was known for some time already. Please fix this asap!

All of our direct challenge tournament matches wouldn't go through even after trying a myriad of troubleshooting fixes. Some that were not attempted was logging out and then logging in and also turning off then on online status visibility. A serious suggestion would be to step up your connectivity effectiveness, Magic the Gathering Arena; other online TCGs do not seem to be having the same issues with any kind of Direct Challenge.

When being challenged or challenging a friend once hitting "play" it just spins on the connecting to server screen for a minute then pops up that there is a network error.
sometimes it goes back to the main screen sometimes it kicks me out of the game entirely. the friend continues to load the game as a draw as soon as I'm kicked out. Before I'm kicked it just looks like it does when your waiting for someone to pick their deck.

WotC - This is important for your community. Not everyone wants to play ranked, or be subject to the matchmaker in play queues. This is seriously impacting community driven tournaments that provide player support for formats that are not featured on Arena (pauper, artisan, curiosity, single-set, etc.). These provide a way for players to GATHER together to play the game how they choose to play it and drive long term engagement with the game.

Tournament play is totally screwed over by this bug. This needs to be fixed right away. That it has been going on at this rate for multiple weeks is harming the casual competitive scene so much.

My primary format is gladiator and as such I do a lot of direct challenges. I recently sent a direct challenge and received the error "unable to submit deck. Please try again later". The game then gave the typical connection lost popup. When I went to look at my decks, all of them were no longer there, including the precons. A reboot restored my decks but I am still unable to send direct challenges.

Wife and I have been having this issue for a VERY long time. They arent doing anything to fix it, probably dont plan to. We are just fully done with Arena. We will either go back to MTGO, or be done with Wizards. They have little to no care for their player base. The worst part is, they wont actually do anything until the funding is cut off. Players will keep spending money on arena, so this will never be fixed.
My advice, go find something else to invest your time and money in, maybe it will start to impact them and they will fix their **** for the player base.

When I try to play a friend match in Arena Mobile, the standard options do not connect properly.
Also, I cannot connect to any matches without restarting -

1. Give us the steps to reproduce the bug - Getting "Unable to Submit Deck error" whenever trying to challenge friend.
2. Note which platform you’re using - PC
3. Enter the actual results you’re experiencing - The game will show "Disconnected" afterwards.
4. Enter the expected results of the feature - able to challenge friend for match
5. Add any relevant screenshots/videos - Refer attachment for screenshot and logs
6. If you found a workaround, please add workaround steps. - No workaround so far.

I'm having the same issue! I'm have the issue with challenge in any format right now.
I had the issue a few days ago too. It's extra annoying because the queue works fine!
I love this game and don't mind paying some money for packs, to get wildcards, to build new decks. But direct challenges is the main way I play.
I will stop paying if this happens too often. Please do what you can to fix this and update us!

How is this even an ongoing bug?
Started having this issue tonight and when I googled it found it’s been happening for years.MTGA is happy to take money and lots of it, but can’t be arsed to fix a bug that stops friends being able to play the game together.
This is the final straw for me, I will not be spending another cent on this broken piece of ****

Network error when direct challenge with historic brawl. will load intermittently . Able to challenge random opponent however unable to challenge directly without loading then server disconnection

On PC, the client says I have connection issues when I challenge a friend to a friendly brawl. I can play ranked, bot games, and Starter Deck Duels. Friendly matches are the only reason I downloaded this game.
