unable to submit deck friendly play
hi, i tried playing a friendly game between me and my wife and it keeps saying unable to submit deck, i just played on monday with my wife and had zero issues it seems that this new update has messed with our accounts pretty bad. please fix this i greatly appreciate it

Same issue, error -unable to submit deck. This comes up challenging through a friends invitation or with a direct challenge. The purpose of this game is playing with friends, if we can't play together I'm not buying virtual decks

I have the same issue, we are not sure if it's because my friend is using a MAC book and I have windows or what is the issue but I opened a new account and the issue persist using all basic decks that come with the game. The error is always unable to submit deck.

I just wanted to pop in here in case anyone stumbles across this in a search to fix this (I'm sure uncommon) error.
The fix (or the most likely fix) is simply to export your deck list, paste it in notepad (or anywhere you can see it) and then remove any 'ghost cards'. The appear as "[Card Name] x0", or you can create unique decks from scratch.
It seems to generally be an issue when you 'clone' one of the starter decks as they have the 'ghost' cards within their deck list as each is removed/upgraded while you're playing the challenges.
This problem plagued my dreams for a couple days but hopefully this helps those that find it :)

1. Playing on my Macbook air from the main menu of the game.
2. opening social page/ friend list
3. challenge friend to any and all formats and they accept the challenge.
4. When I go to deck selection will say "Network Error unable to submit deck"
5. I then cancel the challenge.Please fix immediatley I posted about this in October and nothing has been done.

1. start Quick draft Kaldheim, draft deck, (possibly related to showing of wrong cards, cards drafted sometimes get replaced by another card) build deck, click "done"
2. PC (Mac running windows)
3. get a "connection lost, unable to submit deck" popup
4. Expected the deck to be submitted, so i could start playing the matches
5. See attached screenshots (1. pop-up after building deck, 2. draft overview with "Build your deck button", to build it again, 3. All cards in the maindeck
6. When i build the deck the second time Arena does save it -

Bump, was trying to challenge a friend on ipad.
Got this network error.Gave up on ipad and moved over to PC.
Installed arena.
5 gb download
Logged in.
Same error.
Days pass.
Same error.

unable to play with a friend.
I always get an error, either the deck is not valid (even though it is) or the game options are not the same with my friend and I. when I then click "play" nothing happens; trying to leave the game doesn't actually work -

I have the same issue, I didnt get jumpstart but everything Ive earned before current standard rotation is now unplayable against friends, even though everyone Ive tried seems to be able to choose anything they want to play against me.
Im on Mac but have spoken to people with the same issue on PC and mobile -

so we found a work and this is specifically challenging people on your friends list to historic brawl, the work around is to select direct challenge from the top righjt, and then in the drop down menu select historic brawl and select your deck you want to play with, then close out of that menu so that the historic brawl deck is selected, then open friends list and click direct challenge, select deck type friendly brawl and challenge. This process should be easier by just selecting the deck from the challenge menu from your friends list

whenever me or my friend to to challenge each other to friendly brawls, I am unable to select my historic deck, it does not show up in valid decks, however I have played with this same deck in historic brawl.

I am totally unable to play Friendly Brawl. It states every deck but standard decks are invalid. I am using a windows computer and the app on an android. Clearly the results should be that I am able to accept any 60 card brawl deck for the challenge and Standard decks should be counted as invalid. This has been an issue since the 5 hour, excuse me 10 hour, downtime approx. 2 weeks ago and didn't improve with the Innistrad Midnight Hunt Update.
