Broken Logs in 2021.8.0.3855
Since 2021.8.0.3855 update many things 3rd party devs rely on in log is gone.
The most painful endpoints we currently miss are:
*PlayerInventory.GetPlayerInventory
*PlayerInventory.GetPlayerCardsV3
*PlayerInventory.CrackBoostersV3
*Inventory.Updated
*Draft related endpoints
We understand that seemingly your backend undergone refactoring and there's no more remote procedure PlayerInventory, but there's definitely it's analogue, and please make it write data to the log.
To summarize, we need following data from log:
* Player's collection
* Player's actions in Draft
* Player's inventory updates
* Players decks WITH DECK STRUCTURE (not like now, only names and some diagnostic data).

Part of the fun for me in MTGA is tracking my collection and optimizing my rewards to some degree which is no longer possible or much harder now. Would be appreciated for this to be restored.

Collection tracking makes it a lot more fun to play and watch my collection grow. Please fix this issue!

WOTC:
These third party apps are what my friends and I use to draft our collections and keep playing games on MTGA. These services encourage me to grow my collection as well as get more friends playing on Arena. We desperately need this bug to be fixed so we can keep playing with our cards and finding new ways to enjoy all of the cards on Arena. Please fix this soon!
These logs also affect trackers, which are groundbreaking tools for limited. Many people I know find limited on Arena to be too complicated without these helpful tools.

Did Hasbro do this out of spite or incompetence? Both are pretty bad.

MTGA should be AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE to playing a physical game of MTG. If that means that we must rely on 3rd party tools to assist us in growing our collection WotC should embrace this and make it as easy as possible for the devs to support. Unless of course they are actually planning to introduce all of the functionality provided by 3rd parties into the game, which would be a horrible stomp on the 3rd party tools and probably cost them players.

I started playing a month ago and was super happy about how useful the helpers were to figure out which packs I should open, which decks I should play, etc.
I am waiting to see if MTGA fixes the logs and those helpers work again, otherwise I'll quit.

WotC just killed drafting with your friends online, which was one of THE reasons we were even playing MTGA and wanting to grow our collections, gee thanks

Raz, I'm sorry. I accidentally flagged this idea. I didn't mean to. I was trying to read the comments. This one actually interests me.

Fully featured logs would be great again. I liked knowing what cards to look for for my collection.
Also knowing what decks I could build before importing them into MTGA was a feature that was nice. -

While it's true that the logs were never an official or supported way for obtaining MTGA data and that WotC made no commitments about the logs' existence or integrity, these logs have became a de-facto API for 3rd party tools that provide ESSIENTIAL functionality that should have been part of the MTGA client to begin with. Thousands of MTGA users rely on this functionality to maintain their collection and track their progress/performance.
I don't know if WotC's intent is malicious or it's by pure incompetence that they manage mess up the logs and break tracker functionality EVERY SINGLE UPDATE but it's a real shame that instead of embracing the dev community around MTGA and working with them to fill those glaring holes in MTGA client's functionality, they don't care enough even to acknowledge the problem or provide any information if/when this will be amended. All in all, I think this is yet another display of how WotC views the MTGA ecosystem and users.

Arena devs and Hasbro are incapable of funding a complete game experience and indirectly rely on 3rd party developers to close the gaps in the player experience for them. Having been embarrassed for almost 3 years now by these better developers working for free, they have instead decided to spite everyone by removing useful log data which underpins these 3rd party apps. Fix your game Hasbro.

Not the best solution, but on https://mtgdecks.net you can add cards to your collection easily from the deck view and track the decks you can play.

Let's face it, the MTGA logs are nothing less than an API at this point. They should be kept as stable and backwards compatible as possible and changes should be announced in advance, at least breaking ones. This would make 3rd party tool devs happy which in turn makes users of their tools happy. And most of us use these tools gladly instead of complaining about missing visibility and collection tracking ingame. Please give your logs the care they deserve, WotC.
