Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

If MTGA admits to adjusting win rate and a manipulating card draws, is this consider a rigged game?
AI: Answer
If a game developer explicitly admits to adjusting win rates and manipulating card draws in a competitive game like MTGA, it would generally be considered a form of rigging or unfair manipulation. The integrity of competitive games relies on a level playing field and genuine outcomes determined by player skill and strategy.
Adjusting win rates and manipulating card draws can undermine the fairness of the game and compromise the competitive integrity. Players expect that their success or failure in the game is primarily based on their own abilities and decisions, rather than external factors controlled by the game developer.
So legally I would like to know where in the TOS they have the protections, also I will contribute 5000 to a civil suit versus WOTC. Match fixing, rigged competitions, Illegal. -

It's not normal for opponents to always have such perfect rng, perfect hands, perfect steals and do their combos (some really jank) perfectly so regularly.
I have a horrendous rng and my rivals have the best rng in the world in which absolutely everything works for them. Many games I win are simply because they give up, I barely have any opportunities.
It happens too regularly, it can't be or exist that bad luck, there is something else.
This game or my account is really rigged. The game is a scam. -

On the draw 10 out of 11 games, not possible if it were random, has to be a bug. Magic is hard enough with actual randomness. When the client creates more against a deck it makes people quit. I almost always play against black decks that cast Thoughtseize on turn one (this card should be banned in explorer due to its high power for the format for one mana but woc seems to love this color) or board sweepers and my experience is quite frustrating as mono green player (currently incredibly weak archetype that hasn't been improved in recent years and now it's time)
The "bad luck" obtained with really bad hands or steals (if I mulligan it's worse) doesn't help either while the opponents have the perfect answers in most games makes me quite suspicious. They almost never have to mulligan, if they do, no more than twice as I often have to do, and their decks seem to go extremely well against mine.
It happens so often most days and I've been playing for over a year, I guess my account is rigged.
If in reality the color black is so popular, it is a clear indication that they have to nerf this color a little but I suppose it is the company's favorite.
People realize how rigged it is and I think it's time for them to impose some internal algorithm to create more fun and equal games.
In the meantime, I don't recommend taking this game seriously to anyone. -

I want to suggest that you fix the shuffler. It can´t be, that I draw 11 lands in the first 14 cards... see screenshot. And it doesn´t happen once in a million games.

Add to that that you have in a mononet 20 lands 17 basic 3 rare. 3 games in a row in hand 2 of the 3 rares in the hand hahahahahahahaha it's not rigged right?

How about you fix your shuffling system? I don't find it quite funny that from a deck with 24 lands in a standard event in 4 consecutive games you draw only two from the initial hand and for 5 turns 0 lands, added to the fact that coincidentally in the 5th game of a deck with 24 lands By chance you steal the 4 paidlands against a monoredburn, it's all quite a coincidence but hey, keep making money from skins and **** and don't fix your system, which is not rigged at all, and only helps the people who pay for things in life. you face decks with skins on each card and coincidentally they don't float, they don't have miss lands and they curve each card perfectly, lest the 3 billion that you pocket each quarter be enough, and you continue screwing the f2p and new players, without events so they can get gold, with ****** missions that give you 500/750 gold a day (if you're lucky), without events to learn how to play draft with a pass that gives you only 1200 gems out of 3400, (pretty absurd when In the rest of the games they refund the cost of the pass, they are not rats like here).

I played today against a deck with 80 or more cards. He get's every card he or she need. It can't be a good balance that card with more than sixty cards get better draws so finally and totaly too late fix the dam shuffler. How it ti spossible that a player with a sixty card deck get punished and worse draws with a bigger deck and lower chances. Or just limited the deck Size for example nobody can play more than 65 cards, except companion or in general says other things. In addition exlude no mana hands and more than three mana hands tochosse from as an AI. Your are digital try new things, change things that don't make fun and you can't do it paper.

Durendal#68785

Your shuffler needs immediate improvements, because it's widely unfair. About half of the matches are unplayable for screwing, flooding and very stranges card draw's odds. Is pretty common to draw the same card four times in a row and it's pretty common to draw ten lands over 20 in the firsts 20 cards of the deck.
Please, fix it. From this depends the playability itself and the quality of Arena. -

Do yourself a favor and uninstall this ****ing pathetic excuse for a card game now. Has-beens of the Cost don't care about good game mechanics. They don't care about things being even. They don't care about the player base. What they care about is getting as much money out of you as possible before whoever steps up to be in charge next runs the rest of this dumpster fire into the ground. Don't play this game and for God's sake if you do DO NOT pay for anything. Play a better card game like Pokemon or YuGioh or gamble your kid's college funds away. Anything but this.

Recently I reported on the mana flood and mana ***** problem that occurs in 1/3 of games, the answer I was given is that the draw algorithm works great, now I don't know how you tested it or if you have ever played Magic but a situation like this only happens if you have 30 or more lands I play 20 and out of 16 cards I drew 9 lands, And you know, it's not nice if the algorithm decides who gets to win and who doesn't...

I do not go first anywhere near 50% of the time. I have kept detailed track for a long time now. That means that there is either a serious issue with the software or there is cheating (similar to what the poker sites were doing). I have reported the problem but Arena does nothing. I am in the process of filing a class action law suit against Wizards. If you have experienced the same problem, pleas contact me.

Why is it that opponent can go first (on the play) upward of 8+ games in a row. It doesn't matter what queue or game type I am in. I find i am only ever going 2nd in games for long periods. This makes the game unfair and more unenjoyable. I feel a problem with the queue or algorithm for how games are matched up.

Queueing into the same opponent multiple times in a row during draft events, particularly premier and traditional drafts is foolish. The entry is 1500 gems which is approximately 10 dollars. The prize for going 3-0 is 2500 or about 15 dollars, 2-1 1000 about 6.75 all approximately. When you are literally competing for money playing against the same opponent multiple times in a row feels terrible. If you win great twice great but you are moving up the bracket and essentially scrub your opponent out to no gain. If you go 1-1 you no cost yourself breaking even or winning at all. Put some fails safes in to stop that. Or better yet make a phantom queue with a smaller entry fee. Least of all don't send your lackies to tell me to post on the forum, looking at you Daniel...
"Hello,
