This game is scripted.
From platinum1 to platinum4 in two days using the same deck is nonsense.
The opponent player take always the right card ni the right moment, usually when they are 2 points left to lose the game.
And of course, you notice even when it script in your favor!

JUST FIX THIS ALGORITHM or let us know if we have to pay to have some good games

Its been 95% opponent goes first for me for an entire year no matter what deck i use, even when its a mirror match, or going against someone using a red haste deck. This algorithm is so broken if its not fixed by the next update im done. I know wizards doesnt care that I'll be deleting and no longer playing but im being generous when i say its ONLY 95% of the time opponent goes first. Im done. like done done with this game

Sometimes, i start one game with 3 lands, and for the 7-10 next turn i draw lands only...nothing else (i have 50% lands in my deck)
What's wrong? Could you fix this please !!

you guys do know that your hand smoothing doesn't work as intended . The math is wrong and you need actually play test stuff like this before you implement it. I know of several players that have walked away from MTG in all forms because of hand smoothing and the worst customer service any where, And every one of them has been a passionate player for over 20 years, have enough disposable income that the entire group used to drop about $3000 per month into various MTG products. They left because we don't get a lot of time to play ( busy lives that nets us the disposable income ) so we only get to play a few games per day and being crafters have to play best of 1. We are just tired of hand smoothing garbage because it is so flawed it's unbelievable that you would actually implement it. But what I would like to know is there a news feed that details updates so when you come to your senses and get rid of hand smoothing ( at least in ranked ) I might enjoy the game again.

Why do I not draw my 3rd or 4th land one game and then flood out the next and then go back to not finding lands I need the next game? Fix the game so draws aren't so obviously impacted by what happens from one match to the next. It's ridiculous this is still a problem.

I agree, this game is garbage rigging every match. Just give us RANDOM matching. I want it to be like playing in person, not some rigged ********. Wizards sucks.

Match making, the shuffler, opening hands, the list goes on. This entire game is nothing more than a rigged and played out cash grab. Matchmaker only shows you decks that out curve, counter, or mirror your deck. Hands are rigged from the jump with "smoothing and optimization". BO1 and BO3 both have the same issues. The amount of times your opponent or you have 4/4 of a card by turn 4 or 5. Maybe the fact that the game keeps all players close to that 50% win rate.

This game is a sad excuse for real MTG. during Covid time it could be ignored so that I could still play magic. Now this game is a stain on the community and probably drives away more people than it attracts. The game is rigged, grindy, and flat out isnt fun. Added bonus the community is terrible and the economy is non existent. If you want to enjoy magic uninstall MTGA and go buy paper cards. If you want to stay on the hasbro train and buy digital cards you dont own to play them in a pretty looking rigged ****** proof format than MTGA is for you.

20+ years playing MTG and I have always loved it. MTGA convinced me to sell my cards and step away from the hobby all together.

Land draws is only scratching the surface. Why do I draw 4/4 negates every game by turn 4? why do I never see 1/4 of my fading hopes? The shuffler seems to pick favorite cards and feed them to you non stop, while other, more useful cards are never seen. This game is terrible, and its sad because the UI is beautiful. Sad Wizards and hasbro decided to cheat players hands to encourage spending. very manipulative, and sad there are 50k people playing too stupid to notice all of the statistical anomolies.

Amen! I have had this issue for 2 years now, at one point i spent an entire week to get more than 2 mana in my first hand, with 100s of games, and still no luck, this year i tried again, same thing happens, what a waste! Why should i pay any money for non-functioning software?!

Mana Pull is ridiculous, 12x games with 7x mulligans each = 84x hand draws, FIX ASAP!!!!! Version 2022.20.1.4318.962619, only 1-2 mana every time!

This company is against cheaters yet its own systems shuffler and proven rigged match making is internal cheating. They rig games towards tubers to get free promotionals. They are absolute a trash company who doesnt care about their player base and product replacement is absolute trash. I ordered a certain secret lair with a damaged card and they sent me a lousy promo pack that you get free from events. DOWN WITH WOTC AND HASBRO BOOOOO CHEATERS

Tired of the matchmaker being horrendous. I'd say 25% of games are decently matched at best. Majority of the time the game is extremely one sided, usually in the opponents favor. Also has to do with the shuffler where the opponent gets god draws and has the perfect hand, curve and answers to anything I play while my draws are inconsistent or land flooded. You have to fix these issues. This game is going downhill fast and the devs and WotC don't even care.

I was on the draw for my first 12 games today (Brawl) in a row! My engineering days are long behind me, but if the system is truly random then I won a jackpot with this 1 in 4,096 streak. Now I'm a lawyer, and think this qualifies as negligent (or maybe intentional) infliction of emotional distress...

back again about how this BS game is rigged with "opponent goes first". i kept track of my games for the past three months. the "differential" right now between going first or second is over 200 times. meaning , i've gone second more than 200 times than i've gone first. that means someone out there has the same "differential" in the opposite direction: going first 400 times more than going second. i can't say exactly how much an average win percentage will be when you go first, but i'd bet it is at least a 10% bump. this game is rigged by who goes first: spend money = go first more often. what else is rigged?

best of one You will be on the draw far more often depending on what your deck has in it. if it's a Simic deck with lots of fast creatures, chances are you're going second.

The issue is the same for historic, I'm at the point of having enough frustration that will make me quit the game. Whenever I build a fairly decent jank, the first match is ALWAYS the exact counter for whatever I built, this is ********.

I'm either playing against bots named after offline users or they're really lucky and believe the heart of the cards as if it was yugioh with perfect draws. What the ****?

Fix the Shuffler already.
