@Pangia#98017, WOW! I followed your suggestion and it worked pretty well for my red challenge. I edited the deck a bit in the challenger’s part, hit done, and then play. Thank you so much for sharing the trick :)

Just tried this technique on my red color challenge deck (that was having the same stupid error *after* I had completed the final challenge, but wouldn't let me repeat it), but minus the duplicating the deck. I just went to the deck icon above the "play", messed around a bit with the deck, hit "done", and then it let me play without the network error!

Please let me know if this works for anyone else.

Ok, so I think I fixed it, though it may have been a fluke!

I was reading back over past comments and realized some people had only some colors that weren't working and some had all. For me it was green only. I think it is a bug that happens when you either do or do not manually edit your deck prior to completing the final color challenge.

Anyway, the way it worked for me was I went and did what another user says and duplicated my green deck in my decks page (just because I wanted to play it normally), but then out of curiosity I went back to the green color challenge, and instead of clicking on play I clicked on the deck picture above the play button. I edited the deck a bit (it seemed to have reverted it to an earlier version, because I swear I had already added some of these cards) and when everything was kosher I hit "done", which took me back to the green color challenge screen, then I hit "play" and it worked!

No idea if this was just a fluke or a totally randomly discovered work around, but try it and let me know. Maybe they just magically fixed the issue from when I tried it a couple hours ago.

I am having the same problem as of January 1, 2022. I cannot complete the red challenge and proceed to understand the dual colored decks. Fix this, please!!!

Trying to do any of the color challenges, when I try to do the final game, I get "Network Error. Unable to join event. Please try again later." Thus I am unable to get the associated decks, or complete the quest. Please give me a work around so that I can get the decks and the quest reward for 1000g. So far I have tried red and green with the same result. Thank you.

REPLAY TUTORIAL DOESN'T WORK -

Tested what another person suggested by replaying the tutorial.
Colour Challenges is still returning a network error after completion.
The associated decks have a lot of invalid card selections.
Have tried updating with valid ones and I get the same Network Error when trying to save the deck.

I really love MTG but can't bring myself to recommend Arena to new friends until basic introductory elements are working properly, especially for a product requesting money.

Sort it out already or at the very least provide an ETA/Update after all this time.

Any update regarding this problem ? It's up for months and I come back from time to time to check...
Either allow us to get the missing decks or provide an ETA...

Edit: so I found an easier way to unlock those decks. Click on the decks tab, click on the desired deck thats locked cause of the unable to join event error. On the bottom of the screen there's a duplicate button, go ahead and hit that and it will create the same deck but unlocked. Go into standard matchmaking, remove cards that can't be used in the decks and replace with whatever you want to make it atleast 60 cards. This should unlock those decks for you to use from now on or adjust as you want to. This doesn't fix the issue that wizard refuses to fix with the event error and you still won't be able to finish the last battle in the color challenges, but atleast you get the decks.

So I believe I found a work around this bug. I couldn't complete final color challenge for blue or green. Was messing around playing a couple matches in a standard event, the cheap gold one that you lose after 3 losses. After the first match before I started the second one I noticed in the top right corner it had a new box that said "add deck" so I clicked on it. After my 3rd loss I went back into my decks and there was a second blue deck, "Ariel Domination(2)". I went back into standard play matchmaking and that blue deck was there with a "1" on it. I opened the deck to edit, removed the one card that was an issue and added a different one to make a full 60 card deck and am now able to use the blue deck I could never get cause of the unable to join event error I kept getting. Will be repeating this process with the green deck when I have the gold to play another standard event. I hope this helps some people!

On the last battle for the color challenge of white, every-time I try to play it says "network error", "unable to join event. please try again later". And when i try later it just keeps saying network error.

My favorite part of this months long issue is that these "developers" have literally IGNORED this problem and every person submitting reports. These are trash people and don't deserve a single penny - AVOID THIS TRASH GAME AT ALL COSTS!!!! I cannot stress enough to everyone I've met to NOT support WotC in any form or fashion. Swindlers - every single one of them.

Unable to finish final color challenge against a player. I get an error "network error". I'm playing off my Android phone. It only happens on the black deck. All the other colors work.

I honest don’t care for the color challenge. ITS ANNOYING you force it to EDIT your deck. I’ve already completed it. Periodically it will ask me to do it again.. and NOW my deck is LOCKED.. the cards I spent money and time for.. literally if a player finishes the tutorial his deck AT MINIMUM shouldn’t be locked. MY DECK IS LOCKED FOR MONTHSSS
