bruh, let me play historic, don't ruin it

Please, refrain from such actions until we have another perpetual format on the client

Historic is a healthy popular format, why change it into something nobody wants anymore?

Certainly won't be getting any more of my money if you go through with this. Just make a new format for that if you want it, leave historic alone!

I don't play standard at all. if historic gets tied to standard in any way it's a dealbreaker for me.

Focus on fixing the client instead. I still crash or "draw" 1 out of 5 games

I've been playing since beta and the only formats that I continue to enjoy are draft, historic, and historic brawl. If your draft format isn't great or gets stale fast, I turn to historic and brawl to keep playing the game.

If you remove that safety valve by continually rotating cards out of what was meant to be MTGA's eternal format, I have no faith in MTGA's continued development and this is where we part ways. There has been continued lack of bug fixes, UI improvements, and BASIC development features that should have existed when you exited beta years ago. There is very little keeping me spending on this game, and you are removing most of the incentive for collecting the cards.

Historic was advertised as Arena's version of an eternal format, and is the only reason I play (and spend $) on the game. To turn the metagame on it's head with nonsense digital only cards wastes all the $ I've spent, and time I've spent drafting to build my collection *specifically* to be able to build historic decks. Alchemy and digital only cards are an interesting idea, but to completely divorce the experience of playing Arena from playing paper magic or MTGO is an egregious betrayal.

Leave historic alone

There are good ideas and there are bad ideas, and this change is a bad idea. Alchemy on its face seems fine: we're in a digital space, let the designers design for it and let the players play it *in their own, separated queue*.

But to change *already printed cards that exist in paper* due to balance issues is not where we should be headed. And on top of that, leaving these ruined cards without changing them back for the more-powerful eternal format? Mindless.

A card is a problem? Ban it (or "suspend" it, whatever that means). Magic isn't Hearthstone or Runeterra.

Please don’t force alchemy into the historic community, especially brawl where most of the problem cards are legal anyway!

Historic Brawl is the only thing that keeps me actually using Arena. Please don't mess it up with this nonsense. Leave Historic formats alone.

Is this a joke WotC? Changing the terms of how cards work after three years of purchases seems like a good way to get your product sued out of existence.

I want to see Historic get closer to Modern/Pioneer, not farther. Same for Historic Brawl and Commander. Please keep digital-only cards out of Historic and Historic Brawl. We do not want Magic: The Hearthstoning.

Please do not do change historic cards

I have a historic brawl channel with daily uploads and create new decks on a daily basis as well. I playtest them before putting them up, so I do hundreds of historic brawl matches each month. Now you are telling me that my lists become more and more outdated by nerfs and buffs that are not even aimed at the format in the slightest.

Instead of rebalancing cards invest more on testing before. No one asked for this instead u give us while we all are asking to improve client, spectator mode and other improvements making arena less comfortable to play.

Not only do I want historic left alone I am absolutely against a living format that is not reflected in paper play. Keep Arena a copy of paper Magic. This is an absolute travesty and cheapens every aspect of the investment of generations of players.

Haven’t seen something this divisive since the “double wildcard” debacle when historic was introduced. Play test your cards more thoroughly rather than shoehorning errata and forcing changed cards on the community. No one asked for this, and it’s clear the vast majority do not want it.

Historic is the best constructed format on the platform. It was already disappointing to introduce digital only cards into it and remove the potential paper play. Please let it exist as is.

Historic is my only format I like to play, not draft, not standard, not brawl, historic. Please don't radically change historic, even if there's historic and alchemy historic would be fine.
