Your current course of action with regards to letting cards be rebalanced for Alchemy but still get neutered in Historic for no real reason is very bad. There are a lot of other options here to right this course, please consider at least one of them:

1) Allow us to play Historic or Alchemy Historic in ranked queue etc, just as you are allowing us to do for standard vs alchemy.
2) Commit to bringing Pioneer to the client soon, so we can have at least have a non-rotating paper format without any digital rebalancing
3) Rebalance cards separately between Historic and Alchemy (not great, but at least it would solve this issue)

And probably many more...

I cannot stress enough how bad arena economy is, please rework that. It is necessary. You want to balance cards and add a bunch more every set while refusing to give refunds nor a friendlier economy that does not needs players to spend hundreds of dollar every set. Please listen to your players.

Leave historic alone. There was no need for that. New formats is not what arena needs. People been asking for better server, UI, pioneer and BETTER ECONOMY. It amazes how a greedy company you are. You have a beatiful game and lifetime players with a lot of newcomers. Just listen what they want instead of doing things that nobody asked for.

Atrocious. A substantial portion of the player base wants to play a card game, not this digital garbage.

If this isn't changed or replaced with something like Pioneer, I'm done.

Leave historic alone! I’ve spent over $1000 in arena. Changing one card can make an entire Deck less effective.

Keep Alchemy as a stand-alone format. If you want to balance inside of Alchemy, great, do that and keep it an ultra-balanced/competitive format. If the Alchemy idea works as a competitive format, then true competitors will play it because of its even balance of competition. Keep Standard and Historic in line with the printed cards and separate from Alchemy. The wildcard crafting method is punished greatly by your scheduled rebalancing practice.

I will quit the game without an option to play paper magic in a legacy format. Bottom line. Fix the inexcusably broken client and cater to what your paying customers overwhelmingly ask for over and over.

It’s an easy fix. Make sure anything in alchemy doesn’t bleed into other formats and offer wildcards for nerfed cards. To do that gets consumers back on your side. A little bit goes a long way.

Leave it alone what are you doing WOTC. Stop squeezing every ounce of profit you can ffs.

Wow I don't think I have ever gone from loving a game to being so utterly ready to quit this abruptly before. I'm glad that some people are happy about the new format. It does honestly sound cool as its own thing. I just wish they didn't take things away from the rest of us for the sake of it.

As a paying customer I understand that my desires for the direction of this product are meaningless so long as there is another ****** to replace me. But if these changes to Historic and Historic brawl remain as they are I will no longer continue to invest my time or money into this game and its surrounding communities.

Alchemy as a standalone standard seems great, but having historic get trashed just seems like a big middle finger. If this change goes ahead, arena is dead.

Alchemy is a fine addition but please leave it out of Historic and Historic Brawl!

I'll keep it short - Leave Alchemy OUT of Historic and Historic Brawl.

Such a stupid idea. Leave the format the way it is, it was the best part about arena. Try focusing on the bugs that make the experience worse, and leave the actual game of magic alone.

Awful awful idea. I will be moving on from magic as Historic was the only format I still enjoyed.

Treat the players with respect. This is a horrible idea.

Historic Brawl is the best format on MTGA. Please don't "rebalance" the cards we already paid money to craft for it. Don't take away something we already like.

Leave historic alone. Noone asked for this and it shows how disconnected they are with their player base. Also make historic brawl 4 players
