whoever came up with the idea to pollute historic with alchemy is a cringe loser and should be fired, no amount of anything introduced in any set ever will ever fix this or persuade me to give you money ever again until this is rolled back. This was my favorite game, i would have easily dumped 500-1000$ a year into this game if i was confident my cards would stay the way they are printed and i'm sure that goes for allot of people. There was zero chance i was ever going to dump cash into prohibitively expensive irl cards just so they can sit on a shelf and get played with once a year, this was the only thing that worked for me I could afford to build decks that i liked and play whenever i want without having to organize anything but now that's ruined, even if you roll it back how can i trust it will stay that way, its worthless to me otherwise and i've already been burned. Nobody who's actually played magic their whole life wants this garbage, how could you possibly think that or do this to your customers. Make alchemy its own separate thing that has no effect on vanilla magic, it's just obvious. The mastery pass i wasted money on is depleting because i uninstalled because your garbage decision to ruin everything, there was literally no day i didn't grind out as much as i could, i still have withdrawals that do nothing but translate into hate for your betrayal, a hate i have no time for, i'll enjoy better games and give more deserving people my money and . If cards are op then playtest them better or ban them and give us double the wildcards as a show of good faith considering how many other cards we might have crafted to compliment their utility in our decks, and leave online only mechanics in their own format, i'm down to play that format and maybe grow to like it and put money into it but not at the cost of vanilla magic, this game is nothing to me if it doesn't remedy this clear mistake.

Im more frustrated that I cant play it with friends anymore. Why did you add historic brawl to the game then never add the button to play a friend with it. Ive used friendly brawl without issue to get around but it should just be a different button.

Day 10 of not playing arena.

TEN DAYS!

Ten days of mounting hatred for WotC.

Give us Historic back and keep Alchemy in its own queue. You literally implemented it in the most anti-consumer way possible by not giving us wildcards when you nerf our cards. Until it's rolled back I'm done spending time or money on MTGA.

Man i am at the point that i feel like quitting, it makes no sense to lvl the game out takes the fun away.

New yu gi oh app is coming out soon might give it a try unless they make historic possible again.

Day 9 of not playing Arena.
I've been playing chess instead.
It's an eternal game.

Myself I'm a standard player that barely touches historic so this doesn't affect me, but the idea per se is just f* ridiculous.

Alchemy is not bad. Messing it up with an eternal format like historic is.

People are here to play Magic: The Gathering, they want the real experience, with real cards and real bans. No delusional and digital only cards that don't exist in real life messing with the original content.

Make alchemy a separate mode for gods sake. Standard, Historic, and then Alchemy standard/historic and everyone is happy. Profit.

I'm not even touching the points of needing to spend much more money to open alchemy-only packs to be competitive or not refunding wildcards. People are here for MAGIC, if we wanted this bul* we would be playing hearthstone or other crapy game.

Day 8 of not playing Arena.

Not even gonna look at the new kamigawa set.

It's not that I don't want to, it's the principle of the matter.

WotC has screwed me out of my cards.

The only other way I can get back at them is by ensuring they don't get my money anymore.

I will not play MTGA or spend another dollar on this client until the changes from Alchemy to the Historic format are undone.

No idea why WotC hates us. I'm not touching Historic, let alone Alchemy, until they stop showing contempt for the community by introducing non-draft sets that are 82% Mythic/Rare. Give me a reason. Give me literally ANY reason apart from greed why Ethereal Escort should be Mythic, rather than uncommon. I've been buying gems. No more. Never again. Hope the cash cow was worth it while it lasted.

Please, add pioneer or another eternal paper format.

yall really messxed up this one. i for one am not pleased nor will i continue to play or spend any more $. you nerfed histoic cards that arent even related to standard alchemy. good job idiots. so stupid stupid stupid

Alchemy affecting historic and being an overall take for game economy is the reason why I will stop playing and paying on Arena and Physical Magic.

You want people to spend? Give them a good reason too. Magic is not the biggest nor the best card game anymore, you guys can't milk everyone in the community because "hur dur it is magic" get over yourself and adjust to the consumers. There are better, more engaging, more reward, and less wallet demanding games than magic.

Fix your stuff, or most people will simply stop playing (and making your hasbro overlords rich).

Since the Beta version of MTG Arena, Historic (From Wizards of the Coast) was talked about and promoted as an ETERNAL Magic format in MTG ARENA in which all Arena cards could be played.

It is a format I liked ... until the conversion with Alchemists ... Historic is now no longer an ETERNAL format, all Arena cards can no longer be played AS YOU PROMISED.

My finances do not allow me to spend a lot of money on a game, however, so far, within my possibilities, I have done so by focusing on an ETERNAL format.

As a Magic player since 1989 and an Arena player since Beta, I feel SCAMMED, it is not a ban or a nerf, it is a lot of wildcards I spent in an ETERNAL format (you can no longer play all the cards published in Arena) which is now no longer ETERNAL.

For this reason, I request that all the wild cards I invested in Historic be reimbursed to my account, logically deleting the crafted cards.

I will decide in which format I decide to use them, of course regardless of how Wizards promotes a format.

this is garbage my mastery pass is wasting away, not that its worth anything to me if you don't fix this. i'd really like some kind of confirmation sooner than later if there is going to be an eternal format or not, i'll pay 5$ a month subscription to have access to non-alchemy polluted format if money is the deciding factor here
