I will never play a format with Alchemy in it. That's not why I enjoy Magic. If I wanted digital-only mechanics I would play Hearthstone. As it is I will never play or buy a pack for any non-Standard format, because literally every other format is ruined by these stupid digital-only cards that are not part of the real game of Magic the Gathering. Wizards, if you give me an eternal format (Timeless, Historic, Pioneer, whatever) without Alchemy, I'll play it and buy cards/packs/etc for it. But as it is I am limited to only Standard and I've already decided I will not be spending any more money (free to play only) on Arena until this horrible design decision is reversed and we can play real Magic again. And even then my interest is greatly reduced because I know all the cards I open in packs will eventually rotate out and be playable only in formats that don't interest me.

I HATE ALCHEMY. Remove it from outside formats like historic, timeless. They are too unbalanced and these stupid mechanics will NEVER exist. Stop with this trash its a **** bag way to play.

Keep Alchemy I dont Care but limit it to Alchemy Play. Dont taint the rest of our formats we enjoyed. This hearthstone wanna be cash grab bs is ruining my eternal formats. I just wanna enjoy playing magic. I fi wanted to play hearthstone like digital only effects I would go play Hearthstone.

Alchemy ruins the game, let us play without it.

Please give us back arena before alchemy. Is the worst thing can be done to magic keep this "format" with cancer cards who as be suppose to be balanced but they are not

I would love to play with the lord of the rings set, but alchemy changes what makes historic unique with how much randomness it creates. I get people who wanna play alchemy but I don’t want to cause it adds so many no skill mechanics like conjure. That’s what brawl is for or alchemy play. Not saying it doesn’t have a place but arena is a good teaching tool for new players and I think what scares new players is few formats to choose from. Not everybody wants to play standard or any format. Like why support a format so few people are interested in when you release a modern set on platform that doesn’t even have it, and the format we could play that in is plagued by cards that go +3 at minimum

This has been here long enough. Please for the love of Magic remove alchemy from historic. Historic is the only way that we get to play formats remotely close to eternal formats, and the digital cards completely ruin the experience. Formats such as Historic brawl give players a chance to play something close to commander with cards which they have had in their collection since they began playing magic. I don't think it's fair that now if they wish to build a brawl deck with cards they can no longer play in standard, they are forced to play historic brawl WITH alchemy. Either give us a separate play queue or give us something like explorer brawl.. But please, just do something. It's not fun.

Many players do not enjoy having to play against Alchemy cards in formats like historic and historic brawl. There are many reasons why we dislike these cards so much. You can keep Alchemy as its own separate format but please stop allowing these cards to pollute existing formats. I'm begging you.

Alchemy should have been a separate game from Arena. It feels as if the game was forced into bad decision making. I can't come back and play it just isn't the same game I was looking for 😔

I am uninstalling all all platforms until the following two decisions are undone: Not refunding wildcards for nerfed Alchemy cards (a practice Hearthstone has done for years), and not having Alchemy nerfs effect Historic. You lost another paying customer over greed and mismanagement, WOTC. I am not willing to play Historic with these decision in place. I play Historic because it is a Non-Rotating format. Spending wildcards is no longer safe in Historic because of these decisions. You are making cards we spent wildcards on unplayable in Historic due to setting them to an appropriate power level for Alchemy i.e. Standard (not Historic) with not compensation for sunk cos
