conductive current / grapeshot Bug
My Favorite deck stop working!!! I've been playing a combo burn deck that used conductive current to charge up a grape shot. That way you only needed a storm count of like 4 or 5 for the finish. Thus removing the need for those pesky permanents that don't seem to be there when you untap. it had been working great up until this patch. now none of the copies from storm have the buff. It leaves the entire thing feeling so flaccid.
This wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. This must be a bug. conductive current modifies the spell it's self so copies should possess the changes as well, right? do other perpetual effects not carry over with a copy? I thought it was built to be one of the main synergies to the mechanic.
:/ I should have shown it to a youtuber. I was greedy. It was righteous and I wanted it all to myself. now it's dead and wizards won't give a crap because this issue only affects my deck. maybe someone else had this idea. I never saw it against me though so probably not too many.

i read from wikia this @ perpetually isn't part of the Comprehensive Rules.[3] @
Im waiting for solution this fix too.

Unfortunately, the bug was that it worked in the first place. copies of stuff are not supposed to carry "text changing effects".
I wish they could have somehow worded the rules around perpetual to work with this because it makes sense where most other "text changing effects" don't so much. -

I'm not much of a youtuber but I made a video with this combo right before this bug showed up. At the very least we have a record of it working right before the Kamigawa patch...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqXb_2u0ubURighteous is the correct way to describe this deck though. It was a blast and I miss it very much ;_;
