Change Daily/Weekly Win Reward to Daily/Weekly Play Reward
With so many high stake event for competative players to gain more reward from winning games, why don't change the current daily/weekly win system to daily/weekly play for casual players?
The current system forces casual players to win to gain resources to remain competative. Considering 500-750 gold reward from daily quest, if they don't win 3-4 wins a day for 450-550 gold, they lost around half daily income. The current system punishes those casual players who simply want to have some fun using whatever junk decks they like. It's not like that 450-550 gold from the first 3-4 daily win and the mastery pass progress from weekly win is quite a large sum, why can't MTGA be more generous so that casual players have better experience.
The number one reason I typically stop playing MTG Arena on any given day is exactly this Daily/Weekly Win Reward coupled with how much XP is needed to complete the mastery pass. I pay for the mastery pass, and play the random daily rewards every day but still need to play Daily/Weekly win rewards to get enough XP to come remotely close to completing the mastery pass I paid-for, and it's gated by wins.
By gating so much XP behind Daily/Weekly Win's, it forces me to play deck's I don't want to play - Meta Decks, Mono Red, Mono White, Red/Black, Removal, Board Wipes. I don't want to play those, it's not fun to be forced into playing decks that aren't enjoyable to me just to achieve completing the mastery pass. I play almost every day... I spend money... I just want to be able to play the decks I enjoy playing without having to grind wins to complete the mastery pass - please fix this.
It might not introduce more variety to ranked, which is fine - although I bet we would have a TON more variety in standard play if folks didn't need to go there to get Wins easier and bring the Meta decks to get them.
Reading the original post above, this sounds like a systemic issue for both free-to-play folks trying to earn some Gold AND pay-to-play folks trying to earn some XP for the mastery pass.. it just sucks all around
