Witch's Vengeance can't select Shrine as a creature type.
I Conjured a copy of Witch's Vengeance off of Cursebound Witch during a game of historic brawl. My opponent was running Go-Shintai of life's Origin and had a 1/1 Shrine creature token as well as the red Go-Shintai creature from Kamigawa block.
When trying to cast the Witch's Vengeance, i was unable to select Shrine as a creature type, despite the fact that these creatures had no other typings available. If this is a bug, then Shrine should be added to the creature type list. If this is a rulings issue, suggesting that Shrine is it's own subtype of enchantment rather than explecitely a creature type, I'd like to refer the Tribal Enchantments of Lorwyn having Creature types and suggest the ruling have an update. Thanks!

Had same problem. You should be able to name the creature, but shine it not listed.

I get the frustration in the situation, but you've got it right: Shrine is a subtype of Enchantment, not a Creature subtype. Tribal Enchantments have got the supertype Tribal (there are also sorceries, instants, and artifacts with this supertype) which gives them a single creature subtype.
This distinction has several consequences, for example Path of Ancestry's will never allow you to scry in a Go-Shintai deck and on the other hand Prowess of the Fair will draw two cards off of Tyvar Kell's ultimate emblem and tap for black mana if he is still around.
