Priest of Possibility and Eater of Virtue
- Give us the steps to reproduce the bug
Cast Priest of Possibility and allow it to perpetually gain some abilities such as lifelink, first strike, vigilance, and haste.
Next, equip Eater of Virtue on to the Priest of Possibility. Allow Priest of Possibility to die somehow, in my case opponent cast Shock on him, which was expected. Priest of Possibility dies, gets exiled rather than entering graveyard.
- Note which platform you’re using (PC, Mac, Android, or iOS)
This was macOS but seems platform independent bug.
- Enter the actual results you’re experiencing
The actual result was that Priest of Possibility got exiled and then...nothing else happened. Eater of Virtue went back to the artifact location on my battlefield as if I had just cast it.
- Enter the expected results of the feature
What I expected was Priest of Possibility to become exiled and then when I equipped that specific Eater of Virtue (I only had one in my deck) to a new creature that that new creature would have the abilities of Priest of Possibility.

I do not have a workaround.
Please note, my original player.log file was 123 Mb in size, I have truncated that to what I believe I just before the match of the bug I'm reporting. There maybe be too much data or not enough data since I was just guessing. Also note that I assumed this bug was Priest of Possibility, and it still might be, but other people are reporting that Eater of Virtue is not functioning as expected, both in granting effects that it should not and not grantinging effects that it should.

If the Priest was exiled instead of going to the graveyard, then Eater of Virtue would not be able to exile it. Did your opponent control Etchings of Kumano?
