Rith, Liberated Primevil bug - Excess damage not leading to dragon token being created on end-step.
This issue just caused me to lose a draft... I had a Sunbathing Rootwalla, blocked by 3 creatures: 2x 3/3 green beast tokens and 1x Golden Argosy. I had all 5 basic land types in play to trigger domain.
When I activated Sunbathing Rootwalla's ability, making him a 7/7, he killed the 2 beast tokens and left 1 damage on Golden Argosy, this should have been excess damage no? I damaged 3 creatures with 1 attack, killing 2 of them.
Yes the Golden Argosy turns from a creature back to an artifact at the end of turn, but there were 2 other creatures (yes tokens, but it shouldn't matter?) dealt excess damage this turn, right?
Quite annoyed, as it cost me a draft win, meaning I didn't win back enough gems to do another draft...
Would love to know if this is a bug, or if it's not if someone could explain how that scenario works?

Excess damage is when you deal more than lethal damage to a creature or planeswalker. You didnt do this in your scenario.
