I wanted to cast a spell called "Disfigure" before the sorcery spell "Epic Confrontation" resolved and the two target creatures fought. However, I was unable to cast the instant spell "Disfigure" and my creature died! I had the mana and after the fight I was able to destroy the enemy creature with Disfigure. My creature died though and I lost the game. Usually when I cast a fighting spell like Epic Confrontation, you can adjust creature stats using an instant spell but this time the two creatures just fought immediately without letting me debuff the enemy creature.

I am currently playing in a Premier Draft Brothers War event. I used a draft token to enter the event and these tokens are worth a lot to me. Otherwise I would not mind this bug this one time.
