Implement Loops
Your game does not work as intended. Paper magic and Arena/MTGO are fundamentally different because digital formats can’t detect loops, which are built into the rules of the game. Declaring a number of iterations for a loop — though challenging to implement — needs to be a priority so that combo decks reflect their meta share accurately. Birgi+Ignus is a powerful Pioneer/Explorer deck, but opponents don’t always respect the infinite life you would have if you could declare a number of iterations for your demonstrated loop. It looks like this has been suggested a few times, and I know it’s a common conversation in the community at large. It has become even more popular with the advent of Acererak decks that take upwards of 10 game actions to deal 1 damage, so even as a deterministic loop it takes ages, which creates a very negative play experience for everyone involved.
