Bloated Contaminator Bug?
Been playing magic for a long time and this has me puzzled. They had a necrogen rotpriest, and 2 bloated contaminators. the contaminators were attacking, and I blocked one with a 6/6, and a 1/1 and 3/3 on the other. Some how that still went through on damage and triggered the poison counters causing me to lose the game. I have been playing magic for over ten years. So unless I've gravely misunderstood trample this whole time, there is something wrong here.

Same thing, I attacked with a bloated contaminator he blocked with a necrogen Rotpriest. I activated my ablility on my necrogen rotpriest to give my bloated contaminator deathtouch. the 1/5 rotpriest should have soaked all the damage from the 4/4 bloated contaminator, but instead the damage went through gave my opponent a poison counter and I won the game. I recreated this scenario in a match with my brother and it happened again.

Your opponent has given deathtouch to his toxic creatures via the Rotpriest. Trample + deathtouch is a nasty combo, that allows the creature to trample over with just one damage assigned to each blocker. Because one damage from a source with deathtouch is considerd lethal even for damage assignment. So in order to stop the two Bloated Contaminators, you would have to have assigned 4 blockers to each, or somehow get rid of them before they got to assign combat damage.
