Lifelink prevents game loss
During combat without any first- or double-strike abilities, my creatures dealt lethal damage. My opponent blocked one of my creatures with a creature with lifelink. During the damage step, even though my opponent showed negative life, the creature with lifelink produced enough life to bring them positive again. This is the opposite of how the game worked up until recently.

No it doesn't matter I done the same as his opponent and was supposed to get lifeline to gain life after damage fell to negative and didn't gain no life so they are doing something wrong here

this is actually how lifelink works - the life is gained at the same time the damage is dealt, so in fact your opponent never had negative life, even though it does look like it in the game. i think it always worked like that in arena (or at least for as long as i played).
maybe you could open a suggestion for improvement, as the UI way of showing the damage dealt/ gained is indeed confusing.
