Multiple Serra's Emissary don't actually work as expected, and I lose
I cast two Serra's Emissary with indomitable creativity and I chose protection from instants. On the next turn, the opponent casts an instant (Sheoldred's Edict). My Serra paragon has no protection from instant. I lose the game....
Another game. Again the other bug. My Serra's Emissary cast in the same mode has no protection from Ugin, the Spirit Dragon :( Although I chose protection from planeswalker....I attach two logs

Sheoldred's Edict doesn't do anything protection could prevent. It doesn't target any players nor any objects they control or own. It doesn't try to damage anything, block anything, or anchant/equip anything. Even protection from everything would be useless against this card. Likewise Ugin's second loyalty ability gets around protection for the exact same reasons.
Protection is not a "get out of jail free" card. It only helps against certain things, but alot of effects get around it. This is not a bug with protection, this is you not understanding protection.
