Sheoldred, the apocalypse/Pointed Discussion
On MTGA, I had 'Sheoldred, the Apocalypse' on the board. I had two health left. I played 'Pointed Discussion', then I died. The text on Sheoldred reads: 'whenever you draw a card, you gain two life'. The text on Pointed Discussion reads: 'you draw two cards, lose two life, then create a blood token'. I feel like the text of Pointed discussion implies that the losing of two life occurs after you draw your cards; but, given that Sheoldred provides two life at the point of you drawing a card, rather than after, this should have resulted in me gaining life (from Sheoldred), before losing it (from Pointed Discussion). While this may not be a bug, I believe the text description of either card must be misleading, considering that I lost life before I gained it.

You did draw your 2 cards, which triggered Sheoldred twice. Those triggers are not put on the stack yet, since the spell is still resolving. Then you lost 2 life as the spell continued resolving. Then state based actions were checked and saw you at 0 life, and you lost. Your Sheoldred triggers never got the chance to go on the stack, much less resolve. Remember, that those are triggers, they have to go on the stack, they can be responded to, and they have to resolve for you to gain that life. There is nothing instantenous about Sheoldred's ability.
