Explorer Anthologies
Explorer Anthologies should mostly contain Pioneer playable cards. An inspirational list is attached:

What a joke set!!! Wasn't this kind of sets supposed to bring us closer to pioneer? They pretty much wasted all slots in garbage cards!!! I see WOTC intentions very clear now: keep Explorer as it is for as much time as posible....

Yeah bringing back Pioneer with essential cards. What a joke. Whole community was hyped and you absolutely mocked us, especially with not including hidden strings. Give us actually good cards not some Commander bs.

So few relevant cards to the format are included in the anthology that it is pointless purchasing. In addition cards which would be relevant are excluded from the remastered sets.

Anthologies should make you excited to hop on MTGA, but this one just makes me sad. What a senseless assortment of cards.

This Is the worst anthology ever published, It gives litteraly no improve tò the format, which remain the same as previously. This Is a bad move under Evert point of view wizard. I am not going to invest Money on arena for a long time

As someone who will never play brawl, alchemy or historic, explorer is the only outlet I have on arena outside of standard. Please make it true to paper as soon as possible.

I find it so backwards that Wizards is less incentivized on expanding Explorer due to the fact that it's not a popular format when they can clearly remedy this by implementing the final set of cards to make Pioneer a thing in Arena. People would be more incentivized to give Pioneer a try after their standard deck gets rotated out if there is support for it.

Slow transition to pioneer is one thing, this just doesn’t cut it for how infrequent anthologies are.

I am not playing Arena again untill they start including the relevant cards from Pioneer. If WoTC thinks having Pioneer on Arena would kill paper magic, wrong. It will just bring more players, both on Arena and on paper.
Tbh I am not sure who is taking this decisions, as it is extremely easy to see that creating this kinds of products will only produce a negative effect in the mid-long term.
They ****** it up with modern, then focused on Commander forgetting the rest, now screwing on Arena... -

I am ok with the missing delve cards, I get that introducing a new mechanic in a supplemental set is a tall ask, but introducing 25 new cards to a format and leaving 3-5 decks ONE card away from being their complete Pioneer counterparts is wild to me. Hidden Strings, Chained to the Rocks, Retraction Helix, Urborg; any one of those would bring us closer to the complete Pioneer experience, instead this Anthology changes nothing.

One of the worst collections of cards you could put together for a constructed format. You even left out the best charm from that cycle to include Simic or Orzhov??? I want to play Explorer/eventually Pioneer more on this client, but y'all dragging your feet on adding cards that get decks on the client is just sad to watch.

The people behind this anthology should be ashamed of themselves. Apologize. Communicate clearly with us. Be better in the future.
My whole pioneer deck will be on there now but I write this in solidarity for my peers whose decks are not yet. -

As a pioneer fan, EA3 is the worst anthology ever released on arena. If a fraction of the time spent pushing alchemy was used to implement pioneer on arena the client would have a much larger base of pioneer players.
Until we get either a public apology for EA3 or an anthology that is actually focused on pioneer cards rather than historic brawl I will not be playing much Explorer. So I guess that's it for another 8 months...

Won’t lie when I first saw this was coming I was beyond excited. But after seeing only 3 maybe 4 cards were remotely playable I was annoyed and frankly thought this decision was laughable. I understand they want to drip feed and milk the release of content. That said Wotc consistently pushes out fringe, unplayable, commander cards (mind you a scuffed version of commander you can only play 1v1 on a visual more appealing client that for some reason can’t do what your dated mtgo client can. I am genuinely mind blown by this) and cards that have been effectively pushed out of the current pioneer format… you can’t tell people we will get pioneer there via explorer while instead only giving us one or two viable cards in what will be a 20$ content drop. Hate to break to to you this will be a net negative monetization wise as only maybe a total of 4 cards will be playable in this. No one is paying for this just give the people the cards they want. The formats they want . I promise you the easiest money is on the table and for a company that loves making money this should be a no brainer for you. The easiest W possible is on the table so why take the faster L.

Disappointed with the cards chosen for ea3. This does not show an honest effort by WOTC to bring pioneer to arena in a timely manner. I've been waiting for personal favorites like Bring to Light for a long time, and this does not give me confidence pioneer staples will be available on arena any time soon.

I will not buy EA3, there isn't enough playables to justify the purchase.
