Explorer Anthologies
Explorer Anthologies should mostly contain Pioneer playable cards. An inspirational list is attached:

Hi, i'm a hardcore pioneer player and i'll been playing and paying money on arena with the hopes that Pioneer will be soon implemented. The first two EA were kinda weak, but i was ok because i saw some progreess on the format.
The last EA was an insult, has made me decide to leave magic arena and not to buy or spend any money in digital format. It's the first time since I've played magic arena that I haven't bought battle pass, and I won't buy it anymore if this is not solved.
It's not even because they haven't included the cards from my decks, it's because it's a complete insult, even from a commercial/business point of view it makes no sense, it seems like you want to lose money and fans, and you are doing it.
Sincerely, a fan of magic arena that was angry before, but now I don't know if I'm a fan anymore.

Pioneer being close to the same as Explorer is the only reason any people I play with locally are even picking up MTGA. The client would see such a huge uptick in sales if you would give players what they want. Where are your priorities really?

I have purchased the past two Explorer anthologies, but I will not be purchasing EA3. This anthology does nothing to move Explorer closer to Pioneer, which is frustrating given how the inclusion of a few key cards (delve spells for phoenix, bring to light, hidden strings) would have been all it took to make the anthology attractive.

Explorer is a great boon for mtg arena, as it gets me using the client, and ultimately drafting more and spending more money. Please support the format by bringing in missing pioneer staples!

After the announce that the next play-in would be Explorer I was excited for the new anthology, hoping for more Pioneer staples to be introduced to Arena. Sadly this is not the case, and instead we got cards that never saw competitive play. I felt extremely disappointed and not plan on buying this anthology.

Truly an insulting product as a player who enjoys paper pioneer. I'll be planning on playing other games if wotc isn't going to be taking my interests seriously

I bought EA2, that one was fine. EA3 is, quite frankly, overwhelmingly junk and fluff. You've wasted valuable coding time on cards that will literally never see play, and neglected your stated intent of bringing "the pioneer cards that matter" to explorer, intentionally making it but a shadow of what it could be.

I was looking forward to purchasing EA3 as well. Does the team that created the new EA3 list even play Magic? Look, I live near Denver, CO and nobody plays Pioneer anywhere, so can I play online? No, not really, especially not on Arena. In the past 6 months i've tried to create six of my favorite Pioneer format decks on Arena but I get stopped everytime because WOTC can't figure out (or won't) how to put the necessary cards onto Arena. Want to play artifact deck and run Battle at the Bridge? You can't cause that card doesn't exist. Want to play Ovalchase Daredevil? Sorry they decided not to have that card either. What about Jeskai Ascendancy? That would be tons of fun but no, sorry, thanks for being a fun killer WOTC. When will this ever change?

Bringing the missing pieces of pioneer to Arena will mean more entries into premium events.

Unfortunately almost none of these cards are good enough for explorer/pioneer so it is not worth the purchase

I was looking forward to purchasing EA3 since i had purchased both of the others. Once the cards were revealed it was a huge disappointment. I completely agree that it should be pulling from like the list in the post and not a mix of obscure cards that play to Historic Brawl.

Stop trying to make Alchemy happen and just power out true to paper Pioneer. It will be good for your business.

This is horrendous as the only useful mythics are only a one of in the PT winning Pioneer deck.

I was looking forward purchasing EA3, and have purchased the previous 2, but there just isn't enough in this one to make it worth it.
At most all I see myself spending is 2 Mythic and 4 Rare WC's (UW Land), and that isn't worth 25k gold.
Very disappointed.

“I enjoy Magic Arena for reasons of accessibility and other ease of access. However, I am left frustrated and alienated with the direction of the Explorer format as I expected Magic Arena developers to fulfill the promise of bridging the gap between Explorer and Pioneer. The injection of Pioneer cards is far too slow and the forthcoming anthology is once again missing crucial game pieces; therefore, I can not enjoy the format's full potential.”
Exactly what this person said.

I play both paper and arena and have a strong preference for 60 card constructed formats. I consume magic content and spend probably $200-300 per month between arena and LGS.

Every EA we have added some new mechanic or otherwise nonexistent ability to Arena. Colorless mana being a big one, and a mechanic like Nykthos. EA3 seemingly should have had Delve, yet there was nothing. Thespian doesn’t do anything truly new for Arena. EA3 is an absolute bummer after waiting this long for it.

It would mean a lot to me if these cards would be added. I lost interest in explorer because I couldn't play my favorite decks without Treasure Cruise, which really helps the non combo UR decks.

This EA3 release was a waste of developer’s and player’s time. Way off mark from the community’s interest.
