not first card labeled as first
When opening packs, all cards that I don't have 4 of, are labeled as first regardless of weather or not I already own a copy of that card. I'm running android. This was a problem before Ixalan came out, but I thought it might get addressed without me having to post about it.
It would be nice to show a vault or treasure chest water mark on commons and uncommons that I have 4 of and a gem mark over rares and mythics that I have 4 of already when opening packs. If possible, it would be great if you could label 2nd, 3rd, and 4th when opening packs too!
Before this glitch, I would only carefully read the cards listed as first because they were new to my collection.... Not a major issue, but it was better before.

When I open a pack, every time it says "first" over the rare, and has for a while. Now I am not getting duplicate protection, as I have opened "fifth copies" of cards and it still says "first". This is not fun. I invest real money every set, and want my investment protected. Please help. Using ipad.

I've been having the same problem lately. I get a "first" badge on cards I already have multiple copies of. I'm playing on Windows 10 with Version 2023.33.0.4817.1045760

Almost every card I open after the Ixalan drop now says its the first card of my collection. I should of had 4-500 gems from duplicates AT LEAST! If this isn't fixed, I can no longer financially support your product. This is literally ruining the game for me because it also seems to affect cards in my collection too. I have also had MULTIPLE cards go missing from my collection as well. I used to have 4x Kitesail freebooter in a deck I played when Lost Caverns dropped. NOW the deck is showing im missing 2x Kitesail. WTF??? I literally played this deck for weeks. Who knows how many other cards are being syphoned off my account. Why would I continue to pay for cards that literally get taken out of my collection? I have seen some players who have been affected by this for awhile now. How do you expect anyone to support your products when you cant even trust that you get to keep what you pay for? A billion dollar company cant fix a simple bug. Im done supporting WotC and ESPECIALLY Hasbro. You have done everything in your power to ruin the game I love and I will no longer be purchasing ANY MTG products. This community supports you, and you cant even support them. SMH

Still taking place a month and a half after this report. For me it's on Windows. Based on the comments, it's an all-platforms issue. It worked correctly for my first 3+ years on Arena and seems like a simple fix.

Same issue on the Mac client. I just opened several Wilds of Eldraine packs. Two packs contained Sharae of Numbing Depths, both of which were labelled as "First", even though they were actually my third and fourth copies.

Same here. Seemed to start with a client update sometime in the last month or two. Video attached illustrating the problem, where my 4th copy of Stronghold Arena was flagged as "First" when I opened 2 Dominaria United packs.
