Stop icon remains despite stop not being functionally present

Steps to reproduce:
1. Have an end-step stop.
2. Cast Nexus of Fate, gaining an extra turn.
3. Pass into your extra turn.
4. The stop icon remains present, both visually and as a toggle (hovering it shows "remove stop", clicking it removes the icon, clicking again puts a new stop).
5. Pass to your end step.
6. The stop is not respected, passing immediately through your end step.
Expected results: a visually present stop icon indicates a functionally present stop set.
Workaround: disable and re-enable the stop. This results in a functional stop, with behaviour as expected.
Logs included following a game where I experienced a bug, and following a reproduction with Sparky.
I'd like to note that when I saw the stop icon remain, I assumed that there was some detection implemented for the fact that I had one or more Wilderness Reclamations on the battlefield, and that I would likely want the stop to persist. This was a pleasant surprise to me (until the bug resulted in me losing the game, of course). Investigating and fixing this bug may also represent an opportunity to implement persistent-across-turns stops.
