Error Updating Data
Until Jan 25, I just played the game on a PC completely normally, everything was OK. after the scheduled maintenance on Jan 26, when I launched the MTGA, then there's the problem: Error Updating Data.
I've done those things trying to solve the problem, but not worked at all:
1- Complete uninstallation and reinstallation
2-Try steam, epic and MTGAInstaller.exe version, all meet the same problem
3-Turn off firewalls and antivirus software
4-try a US-VPN
5-try another network via my phone hotspot
6-restart computer after all other try
7-Flush DNS and Winsock Reset, way as https://mtgarena-support.wizards.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000834323-Flush-DNS-and-Winsock-Reset
8-Proxy had always been turned off.
Other IMPORTANT information: I also have a MAC in the same room using the same network with the PC told above, and the MTGA work fine on this MAC. So I'm very confused.
I check the logs, there are something i think might be the key to solve the problem, but i don't know how:

Had this with the Sparky patch, was off game for over a week, got it back up last Friday... and now it's doing this again. I've done the following:
Fresh install
Cleared cache/data/regedit
Restart computer
Restart router
Computer name not having weird characters
Language set to whatever the beta thing was someone suggested
Direct client instead of steam
so many other reiterations of uninstall, delete cache and registry, restart, reinstall
VPN to force update - works to get me online, then only works when on vpn. turn off vpn, back to the same error.I'm at a loss, now.

the problem solved: Modify the hostname of your PC so that it contains only letters and numbers, restart and retry -

I have solved this issue just change your computer name to an English name,other language is not ok.

Same here, everything worked fine until the 26th update, after that error updating data. I live in Finland, but seems that location is not the cause of the problem. I use PC to play mtg arena, should I buy Mac just to play mtg.

Same issue, tried the same as the person above - except I tested my account on my phone instead of a Mac and it works on my phone as expected. Just not the PC, which has always worked fine pre-update.
