Can't use Ultrawide Fullscreen
Ever since the last update, ultrawide (and other unsupported screen resolutions) are now resetting to non-fullscreen mode every time we switch to a new scene. I press Alt+Enter to go into fullscreen, hit Play to search for a match, the game loads the searching scene and exits fullscreen, I press Alt+Enter again to enter fullscreen, the game scene loads, the game exits fullscreen again. It's really frustrating... Before this update, I believe I only had to manually enter fullscreen if I made changes to the video options and only because ultrawide resolution is not an actual option.

It also forces you to have to alt+enter to go fullscreen
otherwise you can't see half your hand, it hides the bottom of the screen under the taskbarstupidly annoying, no other game or platform have i ever had this issue

Please, it is so annoying to have to press alt-enter to enter full screen every single time. I am aware of hacks for making the window permanently fullscreen, but I do not have the time to check if it is safe to use it.
It is very frustrating that something so basic is taking too long to fix. -

Windowed mode is unplayable as the window doesn't fit on my screen and I can't read my cards at the bottom of the screen. If I put it smaller it's almost unreadable.
So I just stop playing until this is resolved. -

How is this not fixed yet! It is so game breaking if you have a big screen and for my experience working on simillar games it takes like 5 mins to fix. You could even get the intern to do it.

👋 I think I built a small fix for this that you all can use - its a small tray app that runs in the background and automatically restores fullscreen (via ALT + ENTER) if MTGA drops back to windowed mode.

In Win10 I got it to work with 16:9 full screen with black borders on the side. But since I updated to Win11 the screen will exit full screen all the time, new match starting, sideboard open, game 2 starting, etc.
Supper frustrating and really takes the joy out of the game. :( -

odyssey g9 ultrawide user here, same problem. super ****** to see how long this problem has gone unresolved. was thinking of picking arena back up after a 3 year break, but now im not so sure i want to. seems nothing has changed.

I don't even have a widescreen. My laptop is 1920x1200 and it switches to windowed mode with no option for my resolution every time I enter or exit a game. I'm an IT executive and I can't imagine allowing a problem like this to fester for my users for this amount of time. Very disappointing.
